But didn't they show she was tired from the lack of sleep and even almost had existential crisis of what's real…
the drama presents her as apprehensive at first, but then warming up to the idea. “says real life is better” is not really discussing the toxicity of the service. looks like you misunderstand what i am saying. anyway, regardless, i did enjoy the drama.
But didn't they show she was tired from the lack of sleep and even almost had existential crisis of what's real…
but it doesn’t show them as losers except for the author 🤷♀️ anyway that wasn’t my point. my point was about none of them realising the toxicity of said service. anyway it was a cute drama. just in my personal opinion, i would’ve liked it more if they had highlighted the dangers of it. i see the way sokor is currently eating up AI, so i get why they may overlook the cons in a situation like this as well.

felt like it was still glossed over, and not presented as anything severe. the whole service is projected as something positive overall. while the negatives are just brushed past. why is none of the women using the service realising that the virtual boyfriend texting, calling, and sending them postcards in real life is creepy?
went in with a lot of skepticism but ended up enjoying it. was a big annoyed by how more plot was set inside the vr and less in reality. honestly wished they’d have stressed on the cons of living inside a virtual bubble by ignoring reality instead of choosing to give the virtual boyfriend a goodbye like he was an actual ex… still was a fun watch
I’ll be honest the show isn’t great but I’m staying for the love triangle (well I just like the second ml)…
it’s been so long since i had sls and looks like this one will give me exactly that. while i love the actor, i find myself skipping the ml’s scenes in this drama. i really wish she had gone for sml’s play
The production company called YS a variable in the leads relationship, so I belive like you he is here to push…
exactly! romance is surely not their priority rn. they care for each other, and are beginning to see eo as attractive, but to realise that they genuinely like eo romantically, there should be a catalyst.
Good counterpoint. How long should it play out? things between FL&SML
well, till the sml lead has served his purpose to the plot i guess 🤷♀️
this is a 12ep drama and so the pacing is much faster. since the sml is the landlord, looks like he will find out about the “co-parent-in-law” in the next ep. and maybe in the coming eps it will be more focused on the main leads getting closer while focusing on overcoming wooju’s ptsd.
people being annoyed at love triangles when it is not even a triangle atm. the team leader is a nostalgic memory of her first love that has come back to her life. still don’t think she “loves” either of the leads rn. she’s just navigating through her work, her sister’s death and taking care of the nephew. i like the pacing, and i have a feeling they won’t bring unwanted drama. the sml will just be a tool to make the ml realise his true feelings or wtv. i have faith in this drama ❤️
i’m most intrigued by the switch up between the dead’s (hyunju’s mom and jiyeong) abilities. irl the mom can speak and hear but she can’t in this world, vice versa for jiyoung. curious how this will play out
the way i love a drama and then i come to mdl and the comments are just… looks like only ppl with frustrations comment on this app. anyway, didn’t feel like being a silent enjoyer today. this is my second fav currently airing drama after light shop, and ju jihoon being in both these dramas with very diff roles is just crazy to me! 🤯
one is granddaughter and the other is so the now the rivalry is between one's grandfather to one's father? that…
honestly don’t think it’s too confusing. the past shown are the grandpas fighting for the girl (but only one grandpa is still alive i guess 🤷♀️ so the late seok grandpa’s rivalry is continued by his son, seok jiwon’s dad)
So we’re gonna see many moments of the leads(teen version)? Are you 100 % Sure? Bcs MdL is saying that they’re…
I was also confused seeing them listed as guest. probably they’ll fix it later. idk if there’s a subbed version… but at 51:40 here: https://youtu.be/ptQv3u5wWxE?si=wm9s-mnqb0EIdu-D (he briefly mentions it while answering another question)
Q: what’s the charming point/chemistry specific to seok jiwon and yun jiwon?
JJH: In my opinion, since we have lots of child actor (teen) scenes, so the viewers are not just listening to/hearing our stories but witnessing the feelings as it is, so then our inside feelings of OUR (grown) characters can be viewed objectively. I think all of us here will relate, despite being adults we all have a child within ourselves, so when you view seok jiwon and yun jiwon fight you don’t hate or wish one would win, but see it as cute sometimes, cheer for them at other times. won’t the viewers themselves reminisce similar relationships they’ve had in life? that’s how i viewed the script.
I was so excited for this drama bc of the main cast. but during press conference JJH mentioned there’d be many childhood scenes and I was scared whether I’d be sold on their chemistry or if they’d eat up the screentime of the main couple. fortunately, none of my worries have happened and I’m enjoying both their older and younger selves’ plot line. Although we’re only one ep in, I’m absolutely looking forward to this!
