Personally I think Lee Junyoung stole the show in this one. I hated him so much, he felt like the worst person on the planet I wanted to jump into the screen and kick his ass, just proves how great of an actor he is. Much respect! SHS is amazing as always ♥

Although I absolutely enjoyed the drama I'm so annoyed by the way netflix subs. Adding stuff they never said, that's completely destroying the original script that someone has worked hard for. Yes, there's no damage to the plot since it's delivered to the audience, but isn't subbing about translating instead of adding in what they think is best?

He is known as the runaway boy for a reason. He really doesn't look like someone who'd give up trying. So it's safe to assume he did indeed get away from his dad. As for not revealing himself to Mokha, it could be some typical kdrama reasoning like "I don't wanna make her recall painful memories. I want her to live life as a new person"?

I'm someone who dropped the drama after ep 2 bc I thought this really isn't for me. But I'm glad I came back and finished the drama bc it's way better than I thought it'd be. I totally hated Oh Nam and his mom (with good reasons.) I loved it when mask girl's story was shown in black and white, one of my fav part in the series. The daughter's story was also interesting. An interesting watch overall!

Did you see what her mom was doing to her at her friend's funeral? She's that way because she's lived a life trying to achieve her mom's failed dreams for her. It's only normal she's being a little selfish when she finally gets the chance to be. And all this antics she's doing is only a defense mechanism, because her end goal through all this is separating her mom and dad so that she would never be born... this is a suicidal teenager pretending to be all happy, hope people won't judge her too harshly

I never blamed her! I said I UNDERSTAND where those who complain come from. Because that's just how the character is written. I'm talking as an outsider, I DO NOT HATE HER CHARACTER!

Eungyeol is tryna bring his parents together, fake sekyoung is working against his goal (unknowingly.) And so it's only natural that ppl who root for eungyeol kinda find her annoying. But their annoyance won't last long because the next episodes will do a lot of damage control when they both start opening up to each other.

I'll reiterate that I'm in no way defending senseless haters. Just that I'm accepting of the little irritation some ppl feel towards her, altho I disagree.

what she thinks is "happiness" is her not existing in her mom's world. yes hopefully they learn and grow, and her character becomes more than the comic relief and her story is dealt with the same seriousness as eungyeol.

eungyeol meeting his parents' younger selves has brought some sense into him and what's stopping him from returning to the present is his mom's family situation, dad's potential accident and the threat of their relationship being intercepted by sekyoung.

But for her she needs to understand why her life is precious and how her mom's life was not destroyed because of her. That's a heavy topic to deal with, and I just want the plot to do justice to her arc too without ignoring the suicidal aspect.

except fake sekyoung is not here to live her best life, she's here to unalive herself in the most painless way. she might look all cheerful and smiley but she's actually a suicidal teenager doing things without thinking of consequences because nothing matters to her in the end. i hope they don't glaze over that and we get scenes where she is vulnerable with eungyeol. hope their relationship isn't built on some momentary attraction birthing from a lie, but actual emotional connection with each other.

i understand the people who find her annoying tho, her character is a roadblock between cheongah and yichan so it's only natural to feel annoyed at her much like eungyeol is feeling. but looks like this roadblock won't last for long as she might fall hard for eungyeol and totally forget yichan lol

yeah absolutely absurd, i'm going delulu and ignoring that the woman specifically said "bandman" when describing her first love 😭

I just wish directors would offer him versatile roles. I remember him saying he'd like to play a psychopath character. It's just this industry typecasting him due to his face. Very unfair to the actor as it limits his opportunities. But he still does justice to his characters, people are just quick to jump on the hate train
