I think he should die... at least this way he will contribute something to the storyline...
if you think yul will become a villain if he continues to live... idk what to say. while we saw him thinking/planning of killing naksu, do you actually think he can do it when the time comes? let's say he do, even then he has no plan of living on with naksu's blood on his hands, he'd rather die with her. i can never see yul becoming a villain ever. rather as someone too bound by societal orders that they are afraid that failing to stick to principles will bring downfall of the entire nation.

I was thinking the same, thinking that he regrets not being able to protect Naksu. But it turns out he is regretful…
idk why people are so clueless about yul's regrets? i'm guessing the subs screwed up in some way? because as a viewer who don't rely on subs, the regret part was absolutely clear to me.

love this
finally someone! I can't with all these complains. Like why you watching a drama if you want things to go your way? go write a book or something! Just watch the damn drama and enjoy. If it's tragic, enjoy the sadness. If it's happy enjoy the fun.

When Madter Lee speaks it’s clarity.
alright. but korean is an ambiguous language bc most of the time subject ain't mentioned. that's why it's easy for these drama and reality show editors to make misleading previews. although it's possible that my interpretation is completely off, his words were very open to interpretation. i will still hold onto hope because i don't wanna wait in misery for a week

Apparently once Naksu regains all of her memories, she will be kicked out of BY's body. So looks like we should…
she has one more daughter. letting naksu live as buyeon WITH all her memories is a bigger threat to jinyowon than having an heir who is not as powerful as buyeon.
there were sm good moments this ep. i hope ppl will stop overreacting about a few bad ones. yes, yul was planning to kill naksu, but that plan fell through bc they never got to go to danyanguk. yes, her getting back her memories might not be a good thing, but that was a passing comment made by master lee and doesn't have much clarity yet as we dk how, why or by who her soul would get "kicked out". but mainly looks like uk and buyeon's relationship is getting tighter (even proved to the pharmacist girl.) looks like the truth will come out soon. i'm still gonna stay positive and keep my fingers crossed for a happy ending. i'm most concerned for choyeon atm. the queen is wicked

Yul plans to kill both himself and naksu. He even fucking imagined it. We got a scene of him hugging her then taking…
that's why in s1 master lee told uk to kill mudeok when she regains her power. because all of daeho believes that powerful naksu is a threat to the social order. unlike uk, yul is a person of principles. even if it's his loved one he'd never go against rules for them. him letting naksu live knowing her identity in s1 was very out of character of him and that's why he regrets it

he said "kicked out" doesn't necessarily mean that the body will kick her out, could be that the mother will kick her out bc as naksu she is no longer useful. without the meory as long as she remains "buyeon" the mother can manipulate her

because he believes that letting naksu live even when he knew the truth was what led to all that happened. he loves her, but her existence will surely bring downfall to many. it could lead to many fights. mostly between uk and the kingdom, also songrim and jinyowon. because there are customs and traditions that must be protected, but to uk his love will be priority

which is worse for JBY. Man is so inconsistent and keeps confusing her and subjects her to terrible mental trauma.…
well she's also confused about whether these are her memories or from the marble. from his perspective it could look like she's reading all his memories with mudeok and reusing them on him to make him fall or wtv. because everything is sooo twisted both of them can make completely different i nterpretations of the situation leading to lots of misunderstandings. later in the ep he himself regretted all the stuff he said. it's just how reality is people say really hurtful stuff thoughtlessly when they fight. just because this is a fictional character we can't expect uk to be righteous 24/7

right now it's a love triangle (with a "dead" person) because both parties do not know yet that she's the same person. i don't think he's inconsistent. he's unsure about whether he likes her for her true self or because she has memories of mudeok (which he thinks she is seeing because of the marble) which makes him confuse her and mudeok. if the latter is the case and he acts all lovey dovey to her, that'd be like he's deceiving her for his benefit when he actually has no real feelings for her. that's why he's making sure that they have a safe distance between them so that he gives no false hopes to "buyeon".

lol even the crown prince uk ship sailing
but he's also starting to realise that jinmu is using him. I hope he is the person who gives clarity to uk about mudeok going wild fiasco. Bc at the end of the day he's not as bad as jinmu would want him to be
