idk if we're watching the same drama if you think ml has no feelings towards the fl...
idk if it's a matter of perspective, bc different people interpret things differently. but to me as a viewer I've always felt that eunbeom was uncomfortable about their relationship. despite having introduced them to each other i always felt like deep within he always wished they wouldn't work out. like the way he asks hara "are you guys seeing each other well?" (idk how to translate it better sorry) in the initial episode, through the tone and eyes it shows how he's wishing her answer would be negative. to me he always looked like someone trying hard to pretend that it doesn't affect him. but then again, i could be reading too much into it as well. we'll just have to be patient to see how it all turns out
not just SML but also the FL do that to, but this also showing how dependaple is the ML
he has a history too. he didn't just become friends with him to date his ex-wife, they've been hyung-dongsaeng for sometime too. but despite that, since they're dating now i agree that he should've kept some distance with eunbeom. that's where jaegyeom's immaturity can be seen. he sees no issue in going to hyung to vent about his relationship when hyung has a history with his woman. i don't think the guilt trip was intended, rather he has a more selfish mindset where he's only thinking of himself and not being considerate of the other party involved.
Just completed Mr. Sunshine! Love her acting and I have sm respect for her versatility. She isn't boring by sticking to similar archetype of characters, but she challenges different roles. I selfishly wish she had worked on more, but in a way it's great that she's being cautious with choices. Just assures quality to me as a fan over quantity.
Yep. ✨She has a keen-very good eye for choosing which project-role to do.
Handmaiden is not loved by people for the nudity, but for the amazing movie that it is. And maybe in the culture you come from actresses doing scenes that expose their body is frowned upon, but in Korea the industry has a different mindset. If after watching the whole movie the only part you could take out was the nudity, your perspective must be very limited. for as person who says "I don't even care" you've commented negatively about her more than once here
This was one drama I was too hesitant to start. I really wasn't looking forward to the romance between the leads. But man was I mistaken! This drama is brilliant. I did skip some of the politics in between when it got too draggy (24 eps is too long tbh) but I'm still glad I decided to give it a chance despite my prejudices. I'm so overwhelmed by emotions now that it's over. Such a well constructed drama! Hats off to the cast and crew!!!
According to this article I foundhttps://www.bntnews.co.kr/article/view/bnt202301200049the description is:‘Myeongdong…
np. yes it's quite interesting. it's similar to skip as it's shorter than other dating shows and is shot at a studio. but as it's longer than skip they surely must have sleeping arrangements, since we haven't reached to that point yet as only 1ep is out, I'm not sure how it works. Idek that it was 2days and 1night until I read the article.
‘Myeongdong Sarangbang’ is a program in which college students who are friends in real life form a team of four and have a group meeting with a total of four teams for two days and one night. Unfiltered conversations that can't be seen anywhere else and subtle fights for matching couples will captivate viewers.
4 groups of 4 friends (uni students) come together, with each group being led by one of the hosts. And then it's like a blind date between the 16 participants (8 women 8 men.) introducing yourself, presenting your talents, and based on that forming couples to play different games. they can change their partner between games. and then make the final choice. first ep has aired already, i don't think they're subbed yet. i watched it raw, it's interesting
after today's ep I feel like altho fl and ml might be endgame (bc it's a kdrama. who we kidding. 90% of the time it's obv who'll end up with who), atm fl needs someone like 2ml in her life. the ml has made her feel like the worst person ever by going to the lengths of faking an affair to break free from her. rn she needs someone who will show her that she's a woman who deserves love too, someone who will treasure her for everything including her flaws. but the ml and 2fl relationship... I don't really see a future there. Because although they seem friendly I haven't really felt anything romantic between them, atleast not from the ml's part. I think the divorce has to do with having kids and wtv reason he gave this ep was just bullshit he made up to cover up that actual reason.
decided to watch because of the cast! And it really did not disappoint!! Also the fact that most of them are well respected actors in the industry now, and they were only rookies here!! thought I won't be up for an 8hr binge so began the first ep in 2x, but it naturally went down to normal speed because the story was interesting and I was ready to invest that much time to properly watch this drama. Highly recommend!!
I see a lot of negative comments here. but I for one am genuinely enjoying the drama. Sure there are plotholes, but I didn't come to this drama expecting originality or authentic representation. I'm watching this drama as what it is- a drama. It even has elements of makjang in it. It surely isn't for everyone. But Kang Sora and Jang Seungjo have really good chemistry and I'm all for it!!!
Maybe Goo Eun Beom (ML) wanted to divorce her because he is infertile or having a problem with his "yknow". It…
I agree. Because this wasn't a breakup, but a divorce. So I'm assuming the reason has to be of that magnitude, not something flimsy like "we weren't happy anymore"
