I'm at ep 21 and I really am considering dropping this drama. Can someone tell me if it gets better? I have been struggling to watch all these while and the many positive reviews kept me going but... I don't know if I can go on. The show began with the FL being rash and rude, snooping around and blaming and scolding others when she herself is at fault and get caught. Then when she is finally more tolerable and her character matures, suddenly more side characters join like Xie Xiao. Wow. Then all the side characters seem to be clouded with love and completely useless just waiting for the leads to do their things. XIE XIAO THOUGH. He is blindly confident, always causing trouble and ruining plans, just always charging forwards and requires aid after. Shi jie and Yue Yang too. Everyone is supposedly very useful but currently, they are just always in the whole damsel in distress mode. TBH, only Lu Yi and the Yan Shi Fan is pleasing as they seem to be the only ones that actually thinks and plans. The storyline has some flaws too. There is no explanation of why the Zhou guy did not pay the $10k and no one questions it. Idk man I need help. Does all these characters get better cause I really can't ignore all these stuff cause its 70% of every episode.
This show is so good!! Mild and Off is amazing as always! The entire show is just so quirky, funny, and cute!! Love the plot and wish there were more episodes! Wish to see this pairing again and Off in other shows that are non BL!
Such a sweet show and everyone did so well. Min Xin Yu portrayed Shen Yue so well I wish I could go into the drama and strangle her... Great drama overall! Wish the sweet ending could be a little longer but still satisfying nevertheless! :)
Its a happy ending so I think in that case it is satisfying but not anything wow that makes you smile like an idiot or something. Just an average closure to the show.
Wow. Not the best execution for a revenge drama. This plot was really interesting and sucks you in at the beginning for it to just go completely downhill after. Love Tor and the entire character but the female lead was so annoying. From the beginning, she blamed everything bad on the lead, had many misunderstandings and was just painfully/stupidly kind and pure and just plainly being a busybody. But one great point of the show is that all the actors/actresses are good looking and are not bad at acting so at least it's pleasant for the eyes.
The bad guys were just... bad. It felt like the good guys were just insufferably kind/good and the bad guys were just bad to the core just to be so. Nothing really makes sense and there were just so many moments that everyone just felt so dumb and made stupid decisions (Probably to make it 27 eps long). After watching 11 episodes everything just felt redundant and repetitive that I just wanted to skip till the end just to have a proper closure for the show.
And towards the end, it's like the producers KNOW. THEY KNOW that the audience is done with the show and all the sweetness just exploded in the final episode that makes you want to forgive all the wrongs this lakorn ever made you feel. Wow. This show had so much more potential than what was offered. Whats the problem? The script, the story, the directing, probably everything but the actors
Watch if you want a filler show. But the ending is such a BIG disappointment :(. Build up as great and towards the end, it suddenly became so sloppy and felt like a whole new writer wrote it without a proper understanding of the story progresion
Watch this if you want a light-hearted sweet show to fill your time! The first half was really good and touching but it just became draggy towards the end. Wished it was just 20 eps honestly :/
The storyline was good for the first half of the show (Funny, sweet, and lighthearted) then for some reason everything went downhill after they got married. Then its all just meh... So disappointing :( But kudos to Zhang Yu Jian for his incredible acting!!! He made it 100x better
I usually dont do this but highly recommend to watch the first 5 eps and skip most of the middle part (to get the flow of the show), then start watching from ep 25 onwards. This way, you can go past the long draggy storyline and still have enough interest to get to the end of the mystery!!
On the side note, Mike is really great here and I wish he acted in season 1 too :(
