Alright so, I put off watching this drama for a long time because I was afraid it was going to trigger me and it indeed did, but I decided I really wanted to watch the whole thing because it was important. This is an absolutely incredible drama. It's one of the best romance dramas I've ever seen and I've seen a lot. I don't think I've ever cried this much and have it hit so hard before. As a member of the LGBTQ+ community with unaccepting parents, this hit really close to home.

I've actually accidentally kissed my friend in front of both of our families one time. It can happen lmao.
They all just laughed about it without even noticing my massive gay panic LOL

In ep 8. I've been wondering about this for a long long time now. MANY many BLs have these accidental kiss scenes,…

I'm curious as to why the totality of the trope/cliche/fluff/predictable writing and plot don't annoy you at least…
*predicting lol stupid fingers

That's fine, you don't have to get it. I just watch what I find fun. Think of it like a pop song. It's predictable, easy to listen to, and many people like it that way. Then you have more complicated music which can be harder to digest for a lot of people, so they don't seek it out as often as the usual pop they like to consume. I just like watching dramas that are easy to digest. And sometimes I find satisfaction in predicating every little thing they're going to do with a drama.

Well I'm here to pour some sunshine to this comment section. Seems like people are getting bored of the slowness…
You took the words right out of my mouth! I'm really loving this drama right now and the more time I spend waiting for the newest episodes I realize I think about it every single day LOL.

I personally do not get tired of seeing similar plots and clichés. That's basically what you expect when you watch romance dramas and IMO, that's what makes them fun. Sure, I love watching some more unique stuff with better writing sometimes but I personally always have the most fun watching the fluffy tropes more. That's the magic of having individual preferences. Nothing wrong with it.

While the writing does leave a little bit to be desired in the episodes that have aired thus far, I'm really enjoying this a lot. I like the pacing, nothing is feeling too rushed. I also love the chemistry between the actors.

Title HIStory: Obsessed Spoiler
Interesting that people can actually like Jing Teng, who not only sexually assaulted Yi Chen when he didn't want it on multiple occasions and who is emotionally manipulative and physically abusive to not only Yi Chen but to Yi Jun (or w/e her name was). The writing was all over the place, though I had a real good laugh at the pentagram scene, good angry spoops. Anyways, this would have all panned out better had they made Jing Teng less like a crazy wacko and more like someone who can walk around without committing crimes left and right. This seems to be an unpopular opinion.

I'm not even sure what all this complaining of sex innuendos is coming from tbh. There aren't that many and even then they are mild. Not to mention it's obviously more realistic to have those normal topics than it is to not have them in the drama and they also are tied to the plot. I've watched 8 eps so far and I quite like this drama. Plus Eun Ho's character is such a cutie patootie cinnamon bun. Yunho plays him quite well. lol

People really took this drama too seriously. LMFAO.. and critiqued it like is was a SBS, KBS, or MBC, or even…
"On par," lmaooo it's far more enjoyable than the majority of dramas pumped out of SBS, KBS, MBC, and JTBC, in my opinion. The only drama recently that I've enjoyed as much as this one was Dong Bong Soon.

A lot of dramas lack the heart that this one has. Regardless of any little plot holes, the story was very lovable and entertaining. The balance of comedy, romance, and drama was superb and the acting was great. Of course, my favorite part is that our main heroine is not even a sliver like the generic K-drama female lead. Soojung is feisty and really reminds me of the phrase, "Girls are strong as hell". I'm definitely putting this in my top favorites! I completely recommend this drama for a real good time.
