They’re fully using 2FL as a plot device to get our leads together faster. It happens nearly every time she has a scene with ML together. It’s silly writing, but at least it’s better than waiting for them to get together at a snail’s pace.

I’ve only watched like 4 episodes thus far, but I’ve been reading the complaints people have about the ending. My thought was, without having even gotten there yet, was that this ending is comparable to xianxia dramas that have mortal tribulations. I’m glad I found someone who thinks the same thing. One of my favorites is Love You Seven Times, so I’m pretty darn sure the YYY ending will be just fine to me lol.

I guess I just have to be patient
