Woah, I had some suspicions, and I was mostly correct. It makes a lot of sense, since both Jett and Elise are hunters. Just from Punn's association with them made him likely to be involved in hunting somehow. I'm so glad you told me about Ramil's mind reading ability. Now when I'm watching ep 3, I can think about scenes from a different angle. I do also agree that the series seems to be moving pretty fast if the book gave them at least a few weeks. A clearer timeline for the series would have been nice.

Have you considered that she's trying to push him away on purpose, because her body is failing? If she's thinking about how she has to become a full demon really soon and has to go into 100 years seclusion to do so, she might be trying to tie up their relationship in order to give him closure to move on without her. She's probably just finding any reason she can and turning it into a weapon to sever their ties to each other.
