So first of all, as you all said and I’m dumb for not believing you guys, this series really has no plot whatsoever…
So what I like is that Nhai and Ai were always honest with each other or at least acceptable at times, when Ai went to meet their friends, Nhai already figured what they can ask him about and they have talked the entire coming out through, they weren’t hiding their relationship and acting immature about it - if someone wanted to know, they were admitting it without any problem, when Nhai met with Ai’s mother, I was so relieved that it went into healthy direction, he told everything to Ai, wasn’t hiding the fact that he dislikes Ai’s mother and told him what she said and what she did to him instead, honestly it deserves an applause, lol I have seen so many scenes by now where they would dramatically break up bc someone’s parent said so, when I heard this sentence I was like GOD I KNOW WHERE THIS IS GOING, and I’m so happy that it turned out I was wrong haha
So first of all, as you all said and I’m dumb for not believing you guys, this series really has no plot whatsoever and half of the series happens in Ai’s or Nhai’s room which has kind of bored me at times, otherwise it was an easy watch, I actually wasn’t annoyed by Nhai as many others were, and I must admit one thing, at least there was no misleading and hiding things. I can say many things about this series, but at least it was a healthy growing relationship - it had its weak moments but y’all ain’t saint as well, neither am I so we shouldn’t complain too much haha. To sum up, I wouldn’t watch it again but at the same time I don’t regret binging it throughout the week when I had nothing else to watch. Ps. spoiler or what I liked and what I didn’t like in the comments 👇🏻
After seeing so many people being disappointed, I didn’t feel like watching it, but then I really wanted to watch some BL and since there’s not so many I haven’t seen yet I’ve decided to give it a try and see for myself, my conclusion is that I guess many expected something else after three years of waiting and especially after seeing UWMA that raised the bar itself, me too, BUT I wouldn’t say I’m disappointed, I actually enjoyed the series, was pretty much fun without any unnecessary drama, also cmon BounPrem chemistry is off charts, it would be worth watching even just for them.
Torn was the best character when it comes to the leads, however his relationship with Fah was at times so hard to watch, till the very end I had mixed feelings when it comes to Fah, yes, Torn went bad at one moment but GOD DAMN BC OF WHO? The situation, the teammates, neither Fah were helping him and as his boyfriend he was supposed to be his biggest support as Torn was always to Fah, Fah should have been the same. I know people make mistakes but Fah was literally the only one that made me feel like his character barely progressed throughout the series. VeeDome was making me feel bad and good at the same time, it was a forbidden love and I am happy it finished that way, we could have get another time skip tho, since they were so fond of those.
This entire series felt so real, all the characters were portrayed super well, all the actors did a great job, also there was not even a single character we could hate. I especially loved Mix’s and Khaotung’s acting in this one, as I said all of them did so well but those two were just outstanding.
Such a soft, sweet and non toxic series, I enjoyed every second of it, OST was amazing and I felt major musical vibes, but it wasn’t cringe at all, Meaningful dialogs and great message - in the end it’s only up to us how we treat people around us. I totally recommend!
I love how healthy it was, that we had communication here, chemistry and lots, LOTS of comedy, I’ve watched it by myself and now I’m rewatching along with my mom, it’s definitely in my TOP3 c-dramas
Also, Xin Cheng portraying FL character was just BRILLIANT, I’ve loved it so bad, such a talented actor
I’m on 11th episode, I quite like it but then also get strong vibes of dramas from like 2013 or so, I think if I saw this drama in 2014 I would be over the moon, but as for 2022 I can just say it’s cute and watchable
Not me rewatching it for the 6th time, I’m so sentimental with this show, and the OST ahhh 😩 if someone wonders whether they should watch it or not, just try! It’s cute and funny, also the overall vibe is pretty dope
I had lots of free times so finished it in 3 days, I loved it, wasn’t my all time favorite but the maturity, the communication, GUYS COMMUNICATION, was probably the best I’ve ever seen so far in Chinese dramas if not in any. Also chemistry literally off charts! Maybe it wasn’t the most exciting drama ever, but definitely super healthy, healing and feel good. Made my heart flutter so many times, recommend!
I personally like Korean BL more than thai's tho, just my opinion. Thai BL these days are too fast paced so we…
Well yes I can agree with that, nevertheless I still enjoy Thai BLs as you can really find gold sometimes. In western series we also have a lot of exposure regardless of sexual orientation, so I’m kinda used to it. My point is yes some series are too much but isn’t it the same everywhere? In my case as long as it’s consensual and there’s no unnecessary forceful behavior I’m all in for it. I think you would enjoy some of the newest Thai shows, totally recommend for example Not Me if you haven’t seen it yet :)
I didn’t believe when people said it has no plot but now I kinda get what they meant. I enjoyed double personality of Kirin and the chemistry was somehow good also it’s cute and easy watch. Unfortunately, I got bored/tired and stopped at 9th episode, maybe one day I will finish it.
It was cute and easy, I liked it. Def for me it was an ice breaker when it comes to Korean BLs, maybe its not on the level of Thai BLs but it’s slowly getting there and I’m super happy about it.
