Okay so after I finally watched it I can say it's good, like really good, but maybe not AS good as everyone is claiming, at least for me. It's way more mature than most Thai BLs out there which makes it better in some ways, however, after a staring contest through the entire series that had so much intimacy in it (I actually loved that) I kinda expected more from the ending than we actually got. First of all, it lacked the part of villagers' reaction, which I was kinda waiting for the most, and secondly, I kinda wanted the main couple to get more screen time in the end and see how Tian's parents reacted to his decision, it all left me kinda unsatisfied in a way. Maybe if there was one more episode where I could see the reaction and some of their new, casual life together I would love it more. But still, I loved it enough to make it to my top 5. I totally recommend!
Does it have some kind of Until We Meet Again vibes? I'm about to start it and I saw some people crying and so…
Wow, thank you all! I started watching it tho, I'm on ep 2 now and I must say I'm pretty impressed so far, it feels like soon I will have way too high standards for BLs XD
Does it have some kind of Until We Meet Again vibes? I'm about to start it and I saw some people crying and so on and I'm lost XDXD I don't need spoilers, I just want to kinda prepare myself if that will be another emotional rollercoaster for me XD
I don't think Moon Lovers is not as outstanding as people make it out to be. You are right. So many things could…
Y.E.S. Exactly! I'm happy to see that I'm not the only one frustrated. After seeing people going crazy till now about this drama I really had my hopes high, but it was sadly nothing but disappointment. And that's exactly my point. Her love for the 8th prince was so naive, dumb, and hella long, unnecessary to be more precise, IDK where people see that great love and amazing, outstanding chemistry. Maybe I could share the same opinion with the rest of all of those fans if I actually saw some relationship development, but they just gave us plot holes and sudden love for 4th prince with some jumps in storytime XD
It was such a cute show, although at first, I didn't think it can be any good.
The only downside (that's on me, not the fault of the series XD): Gav reminds me of my ex so much, so I had a hard time liking his personality and had a constant feeling he's just a smooth-talker and a cheater playing with him, just like Cai thought at first, I'm happy it wasn't the case here.
Okay, maybe it was just me, but even tho I liked it, I also felt a bit uncomfortable, it is not about the age gap but more likely the look's age if you know what I mean. My BFF's boyfriend is 13 years older than him, but it just feels normal, not uncomfortable at all. Here I don't know, Sheng Zhe looked like 15, Yi Jie looked like over 30, just didn't really feel right to me and I had to remind myself each time that he's already 20 and I should calm down XDD But otherwise, the plot was nice and something new and YoYo stole the show for me.
I came here after rewatching Until We Meet Again and...well. Unfortunately, I have to agree with some of the other opinions. I always try to watch something despite the so-so reviews, since I can always end up loving it in the end. Okay so, the main couple didn't have chemistry for me. At first, I felt it can go in a good direction and I felt some little sparks, but nope, that's a big no for me, I even ended up being not excited when they finally kissed. Now the good side, 2nd couple was cute and I felt some sparks there, didn't skip any of their scenes. They and also Waan saved the drama for me, but I definitely cannot rate it high anyway due to the story's unoriginality. But then also a big plus for mentioning important topics. We have 2021 already and obviously, after some masterpieces in BL world I expected something at least at a similar level, but I ended up being disappointed. To sum up, it wasn't the best show ever, to me was more on the bad side than the good one, but still, I would advise you to judge it yourself.
I'm so happy he is back! I missed watching him in dramas so bad. Can't wait for his new dramas, since now he's finally done with military service, so I hope that after some rest he will accept more propositions ~
Literally, the first time ever I got so excited over a teaser, it seems so fresh, I need it ASAP

My poor heart can't handle that (˃ᆺ˂)
