Bakebake joins the ranks of subtitled asadoras! I'm really hoping that this subber doesn't drop the project, but…
I understand how infuriating being robbed of your work can be,but its also aggravating for the watchers.Maybe just sharing through DO could be a solution?
Just finished watching last ep seasons 3. I'm keeping the entire drama to watch it when things get tough. The friendship between the three women, the challenges of growing old with grace, dignity ,style and sense of humor , the different kinds of love, all well written and acted.I can wax lyrical and go on but to keep it short it's a must see.Don't expect angst nor twisted personalities. Bonus: ep 10 finale Chiaki and Wahei in full Showa regalia singing the theme song was priceless. Btw reas in a Japanese newspaper that they waited so long for season three bcse they wanted all the same cast again and the actor playing Shinpei has health issues. The script writer, and director are the same all through the seasons.( Probably more than you wanted to know)
This drama invented the slice of life category. The adult and delightful qualifiers also come to mind. There's no vacuous emotions nor senseless silliness here, just plain honest feelings. As an added bonus the Enoden always in the background.
New to Kimura and this thread.Beyond his acting skills as I see him now in 2024 he is a 54 year old man aging with grace and dignity.Having been so devastatingly handsome it must not be easy.Yet there is no work done on that face and he's still being the kawaii goofball unlike many of the current idols/ actors with heavy work on their faces and a stiff contrived attitude. He must have a well put together head. I'm slowly going through all of his available dramas and wow.yes THE HAIR.💓💓
I like watching asadoras while making time for subbers in general to finish a project.
