It's rare that I like a dramas second half more than the first...like I liked the first but Iam loving the second half..like I feel even more connected to Duan Wu/ Su mu zhe as a character.....
This is coming after the doubt..MBC has me on chokehold every Friday and Saturday right from Wonderful world to chief detective 1958 to black out to the doubt and maybe soon this
I actually love the Su mu zhe arc and to be honest Iam not really in a hurry for them to get back together..I'd love to see this business focussed part of the drama. a bit longer...I also love how you can see the difference between Duan Wu and su mu zhe Ofcourse they are the same person but with different personalities...like Su mu zhe is like this mature version of Duan Wu...she is laid back..but also possess a smart and thoughtful side to her...in short she's Duan Wu yes but a more calm and collected version of Duan Wu.
It's what Lusi fans dealing with each drama, very frustrating but what we can do
I have been seeing it and I just came from a heated discussion in the comment section of avenuexs post on YouTube...that's why I wrote this..it's crazy how we even have comments comparing two dramas with different genres..like I like this one more then the other.. Ofcourse you do because the other called out to you more so move on...I wrote this basing on the comments I woke up too in this comment section..Iam enjoying this drama it's off putting how the comment section can't just Ben peaceful.... although Iam familiar with MDL and how toxic it's comment sections can get...I just hate how hate is spread to dramas in the name of constructive criticism...
I think Mysterious Lotus Casebook has the healthiest and fun comment session lol
i also enjoyed my time in the rise of Ning comment section Ofcourse it became toxic after the drama ended most of them always do but while it was airing I loved how we discussed more about the drama....MDL comment sections can get toxic...
Sad how two popular dramas by two popular actresses can't just co exist and each have a fandom of their own but without the fandoms constantly going in the others comment section to drag it in the mad just to make the one they like feel superior...I think this is why at times I prefer watching unpopular dramas because then you get to walk into a comment section to discuss the drama and not to deal with people trolling with no constructive criticism.... Ofcourse I know that not every diff ring opinion is hate but you can't help feel that it is especially when it's hate hiding behind having personal opinions and what not...let's just enjoy and discuss the drama...
I actually find it fast paced..Iam half way through...Iam also all in for the character driven plot...
even the romance is fast paced..it literally happens in the first twenty episodes but I do understand if you find the business plot a tad bit boring...

I knew we were going in for a whole lot of misunderstanding the moment they went for the noble Idiocracy troupe...but Iam more excited for Duan Wu's new arc and journey..for the second half.
Finally caught up and the scene where they ask her where her family is and she breaks down has my entire heart...like it was so heart breaking.
Well I guess Yan zijing is going in for the noble Idiocracy troupe and I do understand where he is coming from but I also understand Duan Wu, she must have felt betrayed but also wanted to approach him and here an explanation from him but Ofcourse things didn't go as planned.
Iam now looking forward to her other journey to become a leading person in the jewelry business in Yangzhou... together with yunxiu can't wait for my girls.
Wait Mr Plankton is sad? I thought it was a romantic comedy. I will start it tomorrow

Just finished watching Mr plankton and Iam like emotionally drained so I'll watch ep 18 19 20 later today....I can't add sadness to sadness...I might slip into depression
