The kid is cute but I can't look past his over acting...😭😂 like his expressions always feel abrupt and over done...but I love his interactions with the rest of the cast
Iam at that point of the series where ljx doesn't suprise me any more...
As for the sister...she's in a phase and the people around her are only adding salt to her wounds..and making the situation worse but I believe she's grow out of the phase soon enough..
Love the romance build up of the leads..it's subtle but impactful and they are both doing a great job in terms of potraying their feelings with just expressions and eye acting..well words too but it's amazing to see how it's all subtle but powerful in a way.
I sad this before and I'll say it again this is the first drama or one of the first dramas I've watched where I feel like non of the main leads by that I mean the FL and ml is over shadowing the other..both of them are owning their roles and standing out in their own right and thank goodness their characters are written to shine and are in sync and compatible with one another....
This drama continues to be amazing! Can't wait for more episodes.

This drama genuinely won me over with its story telling.....and before I praise the acting and the casting and the chemistry and more..Iam impressed with the engaging story telling..and no one can convince me otherwise...the writers did a great job..it's rare these to have a drama grip you from start and even maintain the charm in the other half and this show is doing exactly that..call me biased but it's a great drama.

story telling is a taken a step at a time...and with this drama..every step is worth the watch that's if you aren't impatient enough to get to the end...that's what is bothering most people...it feels like they are in a rush..when everything will happen when it's meant too..some don't even care for the build up..and just want everything to be given to them immediately...just what's the point of telling a story then.
Done watching the teasers and seeing Duke Wei standing up for Yining..aahhh she is winning by having him as her real dad....💜 can't wait for their dad daughter interactions
The great thing about the romance in this is that it's actually feels like it's contributing to the story line and not taking anything away from the main story...that is what usually misses in thriller dramas that add romance to them....it's working out perfectly in this...
Does any one remember the scene after Yining told Shenyuan about her history with ljx and wrapped up in his emotions he hugged her..and then she who was shocked by his reaction asked him what he was doing and realising that his action made her a bit uncomfortable or confused he immediately let go and took a step back...that is Luo Shen yuan...
And then there is ljx who keeps intruding in yinings personal space...even when she Cleary shows unwillingness and disgust...he just cares about what he wants to prove and more...like I get that he might have been a different guy in the novel but most of us viewers are seeing things in the series pov and for now he's sick....
That's the difference between these two guys now who you root for solely depends on you as a person...
