for me it's 10/10 from the first to the last episode... I was so scared for the ending but the final was better…
okay okay so i'm going to watch it all the way to the end then. i've been keeping myself detached from the series because i wanted to see the reaction to the ending--i couldn't imagine any ending that could be remotely positive and realitistic but now this gives me hope
same girl, same but I either see one of two endings --- someone hits the kill switch (probably nam shin lll himself in some great self sacrifice) or he goes off on his own to live his life without so bong because he knows he can't give her everything a human partner can. sigh. i'm hoping i'm wrong though. shock me show. wow me. at the very least, keep them together.
yep, thank goodness they are not dragging out the "misunderstanding" for many episodes like other dramas... the…
yessss. that chemistry! I feel like after most couples move on from the "courting" phase to the "in a relationship or kinda of together" phase they lose that initial flirt or chemistry, like the writers forget to keep that going. these two don't and I love that. I think a large part of it is that they're both independent and strong in their own right.
I honestly can't believe I am this far into a chinese drama (or ANY asian drama tbh) and I haven't lost interest, I'm actually watching 90% of the scenes, I care about the side character, still love the female lead as much IF NOT MORE than I did in the beginning and omg the love story still has it's claws in me (thank you for not rolling around running from each other but actually have CLEAR COMMUNICATION AND RESOLVING ISSUES!). Sigh. seriously.
in my opinion, it is not an issue as he never have known or met them before, his brother is already dead by the…
same..i jus started the first episode and was really getting into it then read about that little detail. it might be okay for some people that line is crossed but it's a no go for me. thanks, but no thanks.
A killer switch!! And she doesn’t care cause he’s only a robot !! What about all this years he has been there…
I know--she sounded kind of really cold during that scene. I'm hoping that it was just repressed emotions, that she doesn't want to accept that she is as emotionally attached to him as she is. We'll see. I do think she genuinely cares for him though, it's just that now her real son is in the equation.
I wish that Sin's "personnal assistant" (I'm so bad with names T.T) helps SinIII and doesn't let the mom kill…
I know. I'm hoping against hope that somehow he'll come out of this alive but unless we have some really unconventional writers who are ready to push the boundaries behind the scenes...they're going to resolve this with the more traditional/uncreative set up. I'll just prepare for that so it hurts less!
It IS basic to have a kill switch for something like an AI. HOWEVER it is NOT basic to just unemotionally state…
Truth. Also, I think it's important to note while the premise is that it's normal/common sense to have a skill switch in any IA/robot, the mother didn't put that kill switch in from conception only before she sent NSIII to Seoul to replace the real Shin. An emotional catalyst rather than a scientific/common sense rationale.
out of all the airing dramas right now i'm sooo in love with this one for the acting and the plot. I just really, really, really hope there's a shift in the story arc for the female lead because at this point I just want to skip over (to be fair I have done it a bit already) anytime she's on screen. I just assume she's planning some other scheme, know to not trust her and carry on with my happy viewing.
In the last episode, while Jak Doo was waiting for her, he was watching The Great Seducer - I recognized the dialogue.…
Most korean dramas seem to be filmed live although some recent dramas have been experimenting with pre-production--to mixed reviews (scarlet heart was one such drama). Based on what I've read the risk of exhaustion or actors getting sick are high which is why it's a bit controversial (but also the norm) they seem to have things like IV drips to help with things like that on set. You also have so much drama with the stress on assistant PDs and probably a host of other staff members--there was a recent story I think last year where one such rookie PD committed suicide from all of the stress. It was really heartbreaking. Sometimes editing actually isn't done properly--I don't know if you watched Hwayugi but I think in their 2nd or 3rd episode they hastily edited the special effects which included stunt men in a scene and they forgot to take out the ropes + harnesses so you just see them jumping around attached to ropes and wires. They pulled the episode and re-aired it a few days later with proper editing. If you'd like to read more about it you can check out these links:
Not so innocent female lead! I am in. Guys please post it if you find it subbed.
right? I'm going to die a little if their version of a sharp and straight forward female lead has her apologizing immediately after she says something sassy because omggodforbidawomanisanythingbutsicklysweet.
I feel like I'm one of the few people who was ecstatic that Yoon Kyung did not pick Ju Won. Though I thought they…
You pretty much hit the nail on the head with Ju Won. I actually really did like him and want them to end up together but I had to admit through watching their scenes together that unless both of them could clearly state how they felt and put their feelings on the table, there was no reason to even try to be in a relationship after the show or they'd just end up in the same cycle of misunderstandings and "I won't say it, but I'll show it" vs. "I need you to say it because I refuse to assume it based on your actions". It made me a bit sad because I did feel like they did genuinely like each other more than they liked their second love lines --but real life rules make sense. If you can't take the risks then don't expect to get the think you secretly want the most. I wish I could say Ju Won learned something from this but seeing who he picked at the end because of his pride (seriously even when he picked up the phone to call saying "I picked you" I was just thinking ---"yea, but you don't look too happy about it") I'm guessing not so much. All of this could have just been avoided if he straight up looked Yoon Kyung in the eye and said "I like you, do you want to see if we could work together?"
