I think Chantorn loved Chat since the day she met him but for Wichai she always thought wichai of as a big brother…
I thought Anong explained this well in a previous conversation with Chantorn—he wants/needs to be with someone who adored him rather than treating him as a servant. I thought he caught a whiff of her feelings and bolted to that option to escape Sa-Ang or whatever her name is who treated him worse than a butler. I’ve known people who can’t be alone and must jump on the next opportunity and she was an all too willing way out of his disappointment at being rejected by Anong with no good option left to avoid either exile or a domineering wife. Marrying her seems extreme, but also understandable to me given the circumstances.
Stopped watching this series in episode 8 and by the looks of comments for episode 9 Im glad I did not watch.…
I’ve never seen the ML in anything before and have only watched one episode of something YaYa was in before from ages ago and I am IN LOVE with this show. Every scene of every episode.
This is the third Thai drama I've ever watched and I am so thoroughly enjoying it. The main couple live rent-free…
So well articulated. Thank you for sharing. I am also in the “He knows how he feels but can’t reconcile that with what he thinks he deserves” camp. He also looked so dejected each time she rejected his overtures in Ep 8–returning the keys, standing alone in the middle of the street, standing by the piano. he even told Choy he only saw Chantorn as a friend and she keeps blowing his feelings out of proportion. What I don’t understand is how it isn’t obvious to Choy that Anong likes Wichai, even after she defended him and the mom was like, “Sounds like a woman defending her husband.” It is also unclear why Wichai continues to speak to Anong as though she would be at all affected by what Chut has done since she rejected his proposal. Perhaps he like Chut thought it was his being restationed somewhere remote that she couldn’t accept and not him himself?
Ep 7 - I am so frustrated with Wichai - how can he be that clueless? !!!
I am frustrated with him as well! could he be playing dumb? Do you think he thinks she treats every guy the way she treats him? or maybe because he doesn’t feel good enough he can’t even imagine the thought? or that he won’t get past the brother gatekeepers who have someone else in mind? or he doesn’t want to mess up family dynamics? or the mom? it could be so many things. I don’t know, but I’m ready for him to take a risk and wisen up either way.
Got mild whiplash between yesterday and today’s episodes. Yesterday was two steps forward and today was one (or prob ten) steps back. The preview is not giving me much hope either. 😭
Bai Lu's acting in tonight's episodes is freaken epic. I felt all her emotions and cry throughout.
When she swept up the dirt to put it back in the box I was so moved by her. I think she’s done a wonderful job in general, but that part was exquisitely done.
