The Novel " Gekokujo Juken" by Sakurai Shinichi is based on his true life story. I'm really glad they decided to make a drama out of it. It's a story that should be known by everyone.

Sorry, I haven't watched it yet cause a friend of mine told me the movie was not good enough . So I didn't want to get disappointed. But to think the movie covered the whole story, they really rushed it I guess
Not a single kissing scene between the main leads nor is it a happy ending but I cried a lot while watching it…

Haha, since u r disappointed with not having any kissing scene, just dropped by to say that Saeko gives her virginity to Kasuga in the manga. And Kasuga doesn't end up with Nakamura in the end. Nakamura later lived with her mom and Kasuga and his family left the town. Later Kasuga falls for a girl who also has interest in books and they end up going out with each other. And they get married and have a kid. The end. So in the end Nakamura was just a part of his life , nothing else. Also in the manga, later when Kasuga meets Nakamura, Nakamura is shown not to be a psycho anymore. She was just a normal girl living with her mother and she tells Kasuga not to meet her anymore live his life the way he wants.
