after the release announcement for may subsequently followed with a cancellation, many people assumed it would air 2024, it can def reach over 10k watchers bc even popular shows like TTEOM and LBFAD have views climbing up throughout airing period. it is like sooo popular in china. many streaming sites have it at #1 if not #2 (switching with only for love)

perhaps it's because many shows don't have gray/neutral characters aka evil turning good or good turning evil as the main character. heroes usually remain valiant and villains remain crude. you'll probably warm up during the next few episodes where she shows a little weakness aka her feeligns

For example Legend of Anle was 7.7 overall but the drop rating is 5.22, Longest Promise was 7.9 but drop rating is 5.13. it means a great amount of users who dropped the show rated it near 0 and skewed the average.

XW supports Yan family (reason to be revealed later on) and JXN's original goal was to simply leave the palace and avoid conflict but she leans towards supporting Yan family bc shes friends with Yan Lin and the instrument loving man is always watching her. it will become clearer with more flashbacks
