Ohhh I haven't watched that one yet, maybe I should while I wait for next weeks eps! Also yeah I agree. I also am a fan of melancholic bittersweet endings but I still feel like the second couple don't even know that they like each other so I'm wondering how that will get resolved if at all (honestly don't mind if they just stay friends and jeongha gets out of the shady businesses as his ending).

literalllyyy like the teacher doesn't even like hyeonjae yet - like he hasn't accepted his feelings even so there's no way this show can end with them together unless its incredibly rushed. also say they do end up together what is hyeonjae going to do about his abusive father and the fact that he's still in high school. the only happy ending for these two is for them to move to some far away foreign country.
also not to mention that the side couple (idk if they're supposed to be romantic or not) have made even less progress than the teacher and hyeonjae im so confused.

honestly i dont even mind if the ending is super terrible for the characters where no one has a happy ending and no one ends up together. atleast that would be a real subversion of expectations lmao.

i don't see a single way for this to end well for any of the characters and somehow that makes it so exciting

Something about literally all of the baby's scenes and acting seems so uncanny valley. It's got that off putting sort of not-quite-humanness to it that sort of ruins the wholesome unlikely family vibe they are going for with this. Boo AI.

I completely feel this. Intellectual not emotional attachment. I can't help but feel as lost as Go Yeong does about what love even is and whether he wants it or is capable of having it. The ending left me quite unsatisfied with many questions as to what his epiphany actually was?
