Can you please point out one specific major timeline problem? In my opinion, everything was clarified until the very last episode.
The Drama Notes Oct 2, 2023
I have many disagreements with most of what you wrote, but among them, I am mainly just perturbed by your low rating for the music because most of the songs were widely recognized classics and I think the new renditions were also done beautifully. The original songs were also exceptional and their singers are even known for their vocals and discography.

I'm sorry, but I just felt the need to say that this is a Korean drama because you used Chinese dramas as a reference in terms of duration and pacing, and I simply thought that the nationalities should be appropriately represented. Also, I do agree with you regarding Jung Do-hoon's sexuality which was never clearly indicated, but I believe it could be possible for him to like both biological sexes or to be pansexual.

Can anyone please tell me which free online streaming site uploads Dr. Romantic Season 3's English subbed episodes the fastest? I am residing in the Philippines and it takes around noon time until the subtitles are uploaded on KissAsian, which is a lot of waiting time for me so a more convenient alternative would be appreciated. Thank you!

Title Dr. Romantic Season 3 Spoiler
What part of 'Let's die together, you and me, doctor.' is fair???? Just because he had a hard time, doesn't mean…
Right? Even I experience that feeling of life being unfair and desire to make people feel what I feel, I have never crossed that line. That dude has no idea how hard life has been on Woo-jin and how he has only started to enjoy it. And, to think that guy wanted to drag him to death beside him is just so unfair, especially for Woo-jin who was a survivor of an attempted family suicide. No person has any right to rob anyone of their right to live and look forward to tomorrow. Hopefully, everything goes well for our Doldam staff. On a side note, I wish that guy finds the help he needs to start having hope in life and repent for his sins.

Tae-rang and Seol-ah though! I sincerely believe that anyone can turn their life around and that includes cheaters, but I really did not fully like Jin-woo, because of the affair and how toxic he has been. During that whole time he was trying to win Seol-ah back, he was mostly being selfish unlike Tae-rang. I admit that I did like some of his romantic scenes with Seol-ah, but I felt like Seol-ah was genuinely happy and in love with Tae-rang. At the very least, Seol-ah should have said that she really did have romqntic feelings for Tae-rang. I mean, she did get jealous when Tae-rang met up with another woman and there were a lot of signs showing her being happier with him. I don't know if I should view Tae-rang as a lead or a second lead, but damn, he is one of my favorite characters whose love was unrequited. đŸ˜

I was starting to understand Kook Young-soo, but what the hell did the writers do? Sure, it's quite understandable for him to end up like that, but for a smart student, to lose every bit of reason and explode like that was so unnecessary and pointless, especially considering that it's an apocalyptic sci-fi drama. The show should have sticked to the friendship theme that they have established. Why does a poor boy who only wanted to change their family's living condition have to suffer such an unjust conclusion?

So Mudeok is not coming back ? Is UK in love with Mudeok or Naksu ? Probably both…. Idk how i feel about S1…
Mudeok = Jin Bu-yeon

Jang Uk never met Bu-yeon so it has been obvious that he loves Naksu, who spent all those times with him. That was never in doubt unless you have misunderstood their identities this entire time. He just calls her Mudeok because he got used to that.

This is what I feel about this drama. It’s missing something. It’s mostly from an inside out perspective,…
Although I agree, I can see the typical duration of Korean dramas and the main theme of the drama as the primary contributing factors on why there is little context on how she is cared for.

Since dramas often span into merely 16 episodes these days, I think there is barely enough time to cover everything and go deeper into the other characters' perspectives. However, I believe that Woo Young-woo's interactions with people have provided a somewhat decent context on their difficulty in handling their relationship with her. For one, I think her father and Lee Jun-ho's struggle to communicate with her and to make her interested/concerned in them has been apparent. Additionally, I can also recognize how her friend occasionally finds her too needy, although she ends up doing her best to comply with her requests despite that. I guess what makes this different from other portrayals of autism is that Young-woo is at a higher level of intelligence on the autism spectrum which makes it slightly easier to tend to her.

In terms of the themes showcased in this show, I believe the most highlighted one is her life as a lawyer. Thus, there is little need to dive into her father's hardships in raising her. Instead, I see that the drama compensates by showing more of how the people presently surrounding feel, which includes her colleagues, clients, and the rest of the society.

Out of curiosity, is anyone rewatching the drama at the moment? I'm just torn as to whether I should rewatch it now, later when it finishes [which I actually prefer since watching it straight gives it more impact], or watch another drama in the meantime. I just need a show to keep me pumped up every day, so I'm in a pickle right now.

I watched Link till 8 or 9 episodes, it's a medicore drama with slow paced thriller and romance. It's on hold…
Fellow otaku here (assuming you are one as well)! Alchemy of Souls is the only ongoing drama I am watching at the moment alongside two ongoing anime which are Kingdom and Overlord. These are great anime so I suggest watching them if you haven't. On that note, can you recommend any TV series that would excite me? My preferred genres are action (mainly for anime or Western shows but I would appreciate it too if it is on a Korean drama), fantasy (for any type of show), and romcom or slice of life (for Korean dramas). Thank you!

After reading the comments here, I wanna say Thank goodness that am not the only one who dropped this. I was just…
In my opinion, you should finish it with a more open-minded and fresher mind later on. It's literally a drama with the complete set of genres and most characters' storylines are gold. I honestly also found the pace slow like the others, but eventually liked it because it gave so much context to everything. Regarding Gong Hyo-jin though, how can you not like her for no reason? I mean, I get not being a fan but to make that a factor for dropping a drama seems so biased. At first, I wasn't really a fan of her visual (maybe because she's not my type) but I really acknowledge her beauty now.

i can tolerate slow paced and bad story line, but i definitely cannot tolerate bad characters. Unfortunately this…
Slow paced, maybe? But, bad storyline and bad characters??? It was never the case if you view them objectively and if you observe them meticulously and open-mindedly. There is nothing wrong with expressing frustration and grief regardless of age. No one has life figured out at the same pace that others do. Even adults have bad days and it is their right to whine about it. It's not like they did nothing but whine because if you finished the drama, they actually all matured.

How so? Just wondering about your reasoning.

I guess we are never getting a Vagabond season 2 :/
I'm still hopeful! Bae Suzy and Lee Seung-gi's chemistry is simply something that should be presented for everyone's appreciation and enjoyment. On another note, Seung-gi is such a master when it comes to action series and it would be a shame if they deprive him of Vagabond.

broo its a fricking apocalypse, they are runnig on survival instinct. what do you expect them to do, everybody…
Because they are "teens." Even if they were on the supposed "survival mode," it is normal for them to feel fear because everyone regardless of age does and fear drives people towards unreasonable thinking and actions. Additionally, the circumstances can become irrelevant depending on people's values, which was the case for On-jo who just valued her subject of infatuation (Su-hyeok and Cheongsan, both included) as well as her friends.

Yes agree. But also in fairness, even if i find almost all the girls selfish, the boys are somewhat likeable...
To be fair, Jo Yi-hyun is a great actress, but the writing of her character just did not make use of her skills which could have been achieved through making her more emotionally flexible in terms of expressions because honestly, there were no such scenes demanding those. Moreover, Nam-ra's shy and anti-social disposition is entirely understandable considering that she did not have any friends.

On another note, it is perfectly normal for any person to become selfish in these situations since everyone does want to live and some even to the expense of their morality. However, there were selfless and caring characters like On-jo and Nam-ra. Even characters like Na-yeon was given sufficient context for me because shame and fear are really capable of pushing us to the erratic path and she did display signs of guilt more than once. On the contrary, reality persists in the sense that we all do not get second chances.

She does have a personality of her own. In my perspective, her defining trait is her passion and certainty with…
I love them both, but I definitely agree that Kang Seo Young outshone her because she is my favorite character in the drama and I love how consistent her strength as a character was.
