I'm glad they are doing a 5 episode special because this show had a lot of potential. Hopefully this will be done with a lot more care, because some parts were incomprehensible in the second half surely because they editors ran out of time.
Gta is a popular video game series. The 6th instalment is only announced to be released this year 11 years after 5, so it is expected that GTA 7 will come out in 15-20 years time, so it's become a running joke on the intenet, usually the other way around about things that will come before GTA, but in this case GTA 7 will come out before Wuju Bakery. Fallout 6 will also come before Wuju Bakery.
I just watched the first episode, it was really good! But I think the uncut it's probably too long I wish they put the cut version up as well, because it dragged a little bit in the middle. Also first time watching a show on iqiyi and man those subs aren't great, they didn't even sub the writing on the screen.
KristSingto stated this during their fan meeting and recently in an interview on 8 September https://x.com/Sophias42069642/status/1822468099419050398?t=zSTrS8td30HQLjWNRgbi6Q&s=19
I'd be surprised if they still plan to air in October, although they are filming very fast. I suppose we don't know how long this show will be? I hope this one is 12 episodes
