It's actually quite opposite. This drama was announced this year and releasing next year while cdramas take years or even decade to release after being announced.

Most of the Chinese historical dramas are women centered and I'm really into these kind of dramas and was liking this one too but at a point they started skimming this topic so much that it started to feel corny at some points.

Yeah at first glance I thought he's the ML from Filter but when I looked it up it was Tan Jian Ci, he'd definitely pull of that kind of character it suits him.

I'm not really a fan of Kong Hyo Jin's acting but I still gave it a try because of plot and it was going really good until the last episode, the last episode adapted the same bullshit troupe which every other romcoms adapts where in last episode leads get distanced, timeskip happens and they get reunited in last 10 minutes.
Still it was a good watch except the part that they were a bit too chill with murder like they wouldn't even wear gloves or mask.

I like these kind of romcoms, light and funny. The only annoying part was when either of the main leads gathers courage to say something then something happens for few moments and when they get back to their conversation they just change the topic, it happened like a dozen times.

ML was such a piece of work but in the end FL doubled it and gave it back to him.

Yeah lol cdrama audience make it seem like drama being bad is somehow your problem because they don't mind about drama being good or bad it's all about actors and costumes.
