Priest adaption from Silent Reading aka Justice in the Dark finally release the last 22 episodes from the 30 episodes.…
I watched da ge, and honestly, I wasn't expecting it to turn out this good! I always knew taiwanese dramas were absolute bangers, but most of them had a shallow story. I wish they adapted more danmei novels! Really gives a similar feel as chinese dramas, but without the hated censorship! And same, I love priest's work so much, would do anything for a sha po lang adaptation. I think I have to consider guardian my favorite bromance. Even though their relationship wasn't as direct, their dynamic is absolutely genius. Though, the ending was heartbreaking... I'm currently obsessed with mu su li's novels. I hope that one of her most popular danmeis, like global examination, will get an adaptation ಥ‿ಥ
It was pretty funny! But I hardly understood what's going on and had to connect the dots, there were so many cuts at times (might've accidentaly watched some censored eps). The available translation is very bad too, but I still laughed. Although, I feel like the ending was a bit rushed (・_・;) I'd say it's worth giving a shot if you have dirty sense of humor
I just finished the series, should I read the novel from the start or start from the chapter equivalent to the 8th episode (if so, what chapter is it😭)?
Guys is this really the step brothers plot..?😭 I realized like 10 minutes into the first ep, and i REALLY hate that trope. Do their parents not fall in love in the end or is this real step brothers love..😭
This was the first danmei BL, so no historicals, only modern. Butterfly lovers was supposed to be a BL, but the…
true! Imo, china is a total ruler of all asian dramas. The story lines are actually ISANE, most of them have such good plot twists and are complex. Paired with how good cdramas are acted out, theyd definitely have lots of LGBT hits
boring, but it was cute at least. Also I can't be the only one who got a bit concerned when kim min jae comforted the professor that it's ok to be in love with your cousin...? 😭 It's a 6/10 from me. I'm curious about the cliffhanger — are they going to make a special ep? a s2? Is the plot complex enough to carry a 2nd season?
just finished this. The plot was all over the place with some contradictions, but I stayed till the end. It's the type of show that is so messy but you can't stop watching it. It also is a VERY strong bromance. It's a 6/10 from me
