what kind of ending was that...that was so weird idek how to feel after watching 25 eps of whatever that was. I thought the North vs. South fox clan talk would eventually give us a good fight to watch by the end but nah, they literally killed off their own plot. Ugh. The drama was a good watch up until the middle and after that it went to complete sh*t. Literally random stories etched here and there for filler, disturbing addition of rape (my gawd I wanna punch whoever wrote that into the story), random tomb raiding, and ep 24 was plain unnecessary and redundant in their love story.
I've watched multiple dramas since this ended and I still can't shake off my mind how great MM is. Makes me wonder if there will ever be another drama that will capture my heart the way MM has.
for a 50 ep drama, there are tons of questions still left after that ending. It felt rushed. Pacing of this whole drama is strange. Characters get set up slowly then have abrupt endings, sometimes these characters are just left hanging in the story unaddressed any further. This was a decent watch but not great. I skipped parts all the time. Would not recommend.
I surprisingly really enjoyed this drama despite a lot of typical drama tropes in it. Like... a lot of cliches are here and it's really frustrating how many lies and secrets you'll witness spew out. I'd only recommend this drama if you like skipping parts when watching. The main couples romance is one of the sweetest I've seen on dramaland. Male lead isn't just some rich and stoic guy, he has character and he respects the main girl. They're super cute together.
Can i watch this and get everything even if i havent watched NIF 1?
Yes. If you've watched NIF1, there are some small but very cool connections to NIF1 you can pick up on while watching, but the plot itself isn't connected to NIF1.
did not enjoy this drama. Beginning to middle was alright of a watch, but overtime I just grew so tired of the male lead. He's a very unconvincing lead, I never felt their romance, and his facial expressions are over the top terrible. Drama was draggy and slow, side stories were boring, I really tried to give it a chance up until ep 45! I wanted to finish it all the way to the end but I think I will just drop it for good.
How many episodes did it take you guys to fall in love with this drama? I just finished ep 3 but it feels so slow…
I got hooked around ep 3/4. I think a lot of people did. This isn't one of those dramas everyone will enjoy binging, because there's a lot to take in with each ep. I found it realistic but idk end of the day it's up to your interpretation.
I would only recommend this drama if you're into non-sensical, just-for-sh*ts-and-giggles, throw away all your logic-type of dramas. A lot of it doesn't make sense so that made this a comedy for me because I was laughing at how ridiculous some of the scenes were.
I had a feeling from about ep 6 that this was going to be the best drama I'd ever watch in my life...and I was right. I thought I had seen all there is to dramas, that there'd be nothing left for me to truly anticipate and be excited about. Oh, I was so so SO wrong. This drama defies all other perceived notions about dramas. There will never be an adequate enough description out there to describe MM that will truly serve it justice. You have to experience this for yourself.
All of My Mister's osts are gems, they compliment the drama incredibly well. My favorites being them all, and as of recent release, Kwak Jin Eon (곽진언) - My Reflection In My Heart
