I'm not interested in e-sports so I found this to be a boring watch. I dropped it at ep 10 after realizing this was more e-sports focused than romcom. If you're hoping to find a Go Go Squid type of romcom outta this perhaps try another drama.

it's been 2 years since I watched it but I still think about this drama a lot.

I love this drama it's such a good watch. It's not perfect, but its very good and certainly worth the watch if you enjoy historicals like Story of ming lan (still remains my favourite slice of life historical), joy of life, etc. The costumes and set are the most beautiful I've seen in a long while. The FL is amazing. Her performance is just chefs kiss she plays her character so well without being over the top.

the political plot is very predictable and ordinary if you skip most of the power struggle stuff I think most people will love the comedy and the main couple's chemistry. The show takes its rom-com genre seriously, delivering on both ends. I give it 8/10 only because I really liked the main couple.
On The Uncanny Counter Feb 14, 2021
very cliche villains. The plot reminds me of hotel del luna and a string of other fantasy dramas popularized in recent years without the grandeur. Into the middle of the series the plot doesn't really move. I think the show is overhyped compared to what it actually delivered. I would've loved to see more focus on demon hunting.

The way Suho slid back into her life like he never broke up with her is really messed up. Also writing Soo Jin as a girl-crush then turning her 180 into a terrible jealous friend with no remorse then trying to redeem her character last min...WTH? 7/10.

I don’t often watch Japanese dramas or movies but this one looked so interesting and the whole game aspect reminded me of Liar Game which I remember enjoying. It was a really good watch and the budget was obviously high for this one the CG was impressive. 9/10 I would recommend it.

The perfect watch for when you want good innocent fluff. Tasteful use of romantic tropes without over the top characters or personalities. The lead couple romance is really cute and heart fluttering but I skipped most of the other side character stories. Not perfect but certainly one of the better romcom cdramas out there. 8.5/10 I really enjoyed it.

wow, now that you point it out kim jae wook and IU do have a similar vibe...like dreamy with an underlying sadness? I think their chemistry would be phenomenal.

I dropped this drama at ep 3 because I had a lot of reservations on how mental disability was being portrayed on the show, but I'm considering giving it a try again.

my mister is groundbreaking cinema on tv. Still the best drama in my 12 years of watching dramas. I rewatched it when it went on netflix last month and I still felt all the emotions and sentiments I felt the first time. Just incredible.

you haven't finished the1st ep but already "don't care about the story"...? Just say you don't like IU and go
You addressed me as madam, assuming that I'm a woman, only to belittle me afterwards by calling me a baby. Anyone is entitled to dislike a story but you specifically pointed her out as the problem in hdl ep 1 and her other dramas. You said that not once but twice and edited those comments out. Maybe own up to/re-phrase your opinion instead of deleting it. Maybe look the other way the next time you see her listed in a drama or movie.

I can not understand why this show was and is still getting so much hate- Its not so bad as a the reviews are…
don't drag whovians into your opinions this is thoroughly appalling

a cute low-budget cdrama that isn't so ridiculously dumb with it's plot. If you're looking for a light romcom with minimal politics but actually has somewhat of a decent flow to its story, this is the one. The female lead can sometimes feel so dense and frustrating, and the couple's scenes were kind of a let down at times but 7/10. It was fun.

^op edited their original comment to omit, quote on quote, "I think I have a serious problem with IU" and deleted their reply further explaining he/she has a "serious problem in choosing dramas in which IU is the protagonist that even watching the first episode, it didn't hold me enough..."

Title Nobody Knows
the theme of the drama is great, be warned it is a slow burn mystery that sometimes lacks momentum, some scenes felt awkwardly spliced together or apart from one another and the antagonists of the story were depicted in a way that makes you wonder "why?". I enjoyed this drama but I think it was lacking in certain areas of the plot. 8/10.

A drama that I started because too bored during quarantine, but honestly is overhyped and overrated in my opinion.…
Strong Woman Do Bong Soon had some of the most homophobic and disgusting slapstick jokes about gay people and rape in a kdrama and actual depiction yet no clarification of domestic abuse. I'm not even gonna explain how the monk character's representation of Indian culture and religion was distastefully used entirely for laughs...one of the worst dramas masked under short-girl-tall-guy-cute-couple-flutters.
On Crash Landing on You Jun 7, 2020
CLOY brings back early 2000's kdrama themes and familiar angst. The male lead is once again created to be too perfect, just, and of course, secretly rich, successful, and loved by all women. Many characters were 1-dimensional, obtuse, and used only for temporary laughs or plot devices to propel the lead's "tragic love story". The most interesting character was Man Bok and if it wasn't for my curiosity in seeing his arch play out I would've dropped this drama in its very early stages. The depiction of North Korea was heavily normalized when reality begs to differ. Simply put, I think the leads were cute together, the NK soldier buddies were funny, but nothing in the plot stood out. 7/10. It's probably going to be a good watch for the casual viewer and kdrama novices.
