This series is such a huge discovery. I only watched it because it appeared in the top 5 ongoing series in China. And I have no regrets about watching it; for a short series, it is well-acted, the funny moments aren't cringe at all, and it hooked me in a way I didn't think possible for a series of this length. Sometimes you just have to follow your gut to discover shows of this type.
I love that Shulang knew the red road was for him after listening to those two people. He carried Tiantian so he would be the one walking on it himself. If your man doesn't roll out the red carpet for you, he isn't the one. Never settle for less.
This last episode wasn't needed. The first four episodes were the ones that hooked me. I haven't read the manga, but I feel that since episode five, the story drags on nonsensically. Shizuma, you are not in the position to be in a relationship; you should go to therapy. Minato, you deserved better, and so do I. The second couple was there, but there wasn't any chemistry at all. The only good thing was the glimpse of Japanese drag/LGTBQ+ representation in the bar; apart from that, this series started good only to end in a 'meh'.
this gotta be the gayest bromance that i just knew the source material was gay. idek how it passed the censorship?…
Actually, it didn't pass. As far as I know, they uploaded the whole series, but it was taken down after an hour. Luckily, fans managed to download it and provided subtitles. It wasn't until later that a production company—I don't remember which one—bought the rights and packed it into the 38 episodes most people know.
I loved how Ogami was confused for basically the entire episode. He didn't even recognize Kano. Also, that frame where Kano is talking to his colleagues and Ogami is just there on the right looking lost? So cute.
These kinds of cooking shows are definitely my comfort zone. The 'traveling group' concept makes it so cozy! I love seeing how a simple dish can be turned into so many variants. The chemistry and interactions between the characters are the best
(I don't want any spoilers).I am afraid of what Xiao said to his friend—that he'll dump Shulang. It hurts, and they are already boyfriends; both of them have been hurt. I want them to be together, although I also want a "no schemes" start, a proper start after Xiao makes amends for his wrongdoings.
to endure the waiting for the next chapter, I have a question, I've seen in Twitter a tweet that makes me realise, is there any ship name for Yunqi and Yiran? YunYi? Qiran? or there is already, but I am not aware ?
I am really glad , that the whole revenged plot has already discovered. I want Minato and Shizuma date without lies . Because it is a short drama , I don't want to drag too much and don't have enough time to enjoy the dating time.
In my opinion, the last two episodes were useless and really dragged out the story. I much preferred it when they were undercover in the original cult. The first leader also had a charisma that Phu lacked. I'm disappointed, because the show had potential—the story felt like it should have been told in two episodes, not four.
This episode was very sad. I had a hard time watching Ramphueng's story. I can understand and empathize with her emotions. She lived in a tough and difficult time and was under an oppressive system.
