I really like how the story is going, but the Cantonese dubbing is ruining the experience for me. I don't think the voices match the characters' personalities at all. Besides, the lips don't match the audio.
Every chapter confirms what I already know: I have to thank Deng Kai and Lin Mu Ran for their great acting. I am loving these villains and I am eager to see every scene they appear in.
Despite all the hate, I love the female-centric plot and seeing Changyu's growth. I'm also really invested in the Sui brothers' backstory, especially Qi Min's. It feels like we’re finally uncovering what happened 17 years ago and how it’s tied to the Marquis. I really like the focus on Changyu’s battle scenes; if she is to be a Marchioness or a high-ranking general, I need to see how she earned her merits. That’s what I was looking for in Legend of the Female General, which was honestly a letdown for me because I expected more action. Kudos to the actors who played Qi Min and Sui Yuan Qing; every scene where one or both appear, they deliver amazing performances. And as for Tian Xi Wei—what an actress! This is my first C-drama seeing her, but it definitely won't be my last. I'm so invested in her performance!
They are similar in the sense that both them are jealous, obsessive people with trauma who manipulated their partners…
I was saying this in general terms. MQY as you say is not that extreme as FX.MQZ at least has some limits.I wouldn't be able to watch another copy as FX
This opinion might be controversial, but Mu Qianyan's personality reminds me a lot of Fan Xiao's (To my shore) . Both of them are scheming and obsessed with their crushes. Both suffered childhood trauma, and both risk themselves to gain pity from their beloveds. Finally, both push their crushes to their limits to get reciprocated love.
I have heard most of times its because of the outisde shoot so that voice is clear without any hinderance of the…
In addition, directors sometimes feel an actor’s natural voice doesn't match the 'vibe' of their character. For example, a 'tough' general might be dubbed with a deeper, more commanding voice to better fit the role, as seen with Zhou Yiran's character in When I Fly Towards You. Another motive is censorship; if media regulators require dialogue changes after filming has finished, dubbing allows the production team to alter lines without expensive re-shoots.
Give me a break, that Morse code stuff is fakery at its finest. As if they’d actually let you record an album full of beeps. And then, what a shocker, there's a website that decrypts the message for the whole song. Please, it’s so staged. Plus, how convenient that the guy had the 'habit' of recording everything. Just a cheap, lazy way to wrap up the case and plant evidence. They literally open the audio file right where we left off... it’s all so fake. And don't get me started on the fingerprints—how do forensics not realize it's the girl? Oh sure, world-class investigation right there (cue the heavy sarcasm)
Why call it Zhuang Residence? It's nothing more than a troupe of actors, everyone acts perfectly.
Wow, when Ruyin said that, she summarized everything. What a wonderful ride I really liked this series; I never thought I would find such an entertaining series
Now that it is over—and I will probably stay at the restaurant for months—I will read the novel and later watch it again. To my shore also To my trauma but also my obsession. I saw it on Instagram, and it's so true: 'The Way I Loved You' by Taylor Swift fits them perfectly in this redemption arc.
PERFECT, I'm going to miss them so much. I'll miss waiting for the weekend to see them. But I'm grateful because I think they gave me two of the most powerful phrases I've ever heard in a series:
You are in hell and still want to drag me down there with you You're the gentleness in my eyes, the inmortal in my heart, you are the reason I love this world, the whole reason.
Happy New Year🎉🎉🎉🥳🥳. Feliz Año Nuevo 🎉🎉🎉. I've seen this on Twitter, and I hadn't thought of this perspective. This series has lots of different interpretations for each episode. This kind of thing makes me more attached to the series. https://x.com/i/status/2006695562889027778
