I watched I Hear Your Voice as it was airing, too! It was absolute torture waiting each week for more. I am still heartbroken that it had to end :p I think I must be in the minority of actually liking Heirs! I won't say it was the best, or amazing or anything like that. But it was thoroughly enjoyable for me! Though, I shipped the wrong couple the entire time as well. My friend who watches dramas shipped the right couple and we argued over it constantly :p
It's called Of Beast and Beauty, and a couple of the girls on the book group I run read it and said it was really amazing! I agree, it will be a sad, sad day when printed books go extinct. But just look at it this way, if the apocalypse comes, at least we will have plenty of reading material! It's sad that people don't read anymore. How old are you?

Ohhhh, my bad! I've been calling it something else so I didn't get the acronym :p no, I haven't watched it! I lose interest when I watch dramas as they air, so I only wait til they are complete and I can marathon them. Lately though, everything has been getting extensions and prolonging the wait :( I am glad you are liking Towering! You'll have to let me know what you think after you finish it! Stacey Jay just released an extremely bizarre/twisted Beauty and the Beast retelling, which is what made me think of her being similar!
You and me both! This switch to digital everything is torture! Not to mention some of the prices on ebooks! I understand that publishers and authors need to make a living, but I can't justify spending 6-9 dollars on something intangible like an ebook!

I am horrible with acronyms, which drama is MLFAS? I do like Alex Flinn! I keep meaning to pick up Towering by her. If you like her, have you read anything by Stacey Jay or Jackson Pearce? They remind me a lot of her writing. And thank you :) It's a good decade's worth of collecting books! I'm out of shelf space, so I have stacks of books littering the floors in various spaces! And boxes of books is pretty amazing, too! Most people don't own enough books to stack on a night stand, much less boxes of them :)

That's exactly why I avoided it! I hate feeling depressed, though I would imagine that My little Pony is quite the upper! I did love Shin Min Ah in MGiaG, I had really disliked her before it though. That's funny, I love suspense and serial killer books, Chelsea Cain and Philip Margolin are two of my favorites. But the unknown and supernatural terrifies me, zombies especially :p it's illogical. You are 10,000 times more likely to be murdered by a serial killer than a zombie, but I guess fear can be illogical :p I have not read either books, but I will add them to my list :)

I'd definitely say they are all worth buying! All of the first books in those series are in paperback by now, so hopefully not too expensive. Though, I prefer Amazon's prices to B&N! And Forest of Hands and Teeth was AMAZING! I don't know many people who have read it, so that is exciting you liked it :) I am terrified of zombies, I had nightmares for weeks after reading it, but it was still just such an amazingly written book. Have you read Mike Mullin's zombie series? You might like that one, too! I have all three Chemical Garden books, but I haven't gotten around to reading them yet!
No, I haven't! I started it years ago, cause it had Rain in it and I had only ever watched Full House, but thankfully someone spoiled the ending for me, otherwise I would never have watched another drama again! I am seriously an extreme sad ending-phobe.

The drama I just finished had the most unsatisfactory ending, so I definitely agree that it can be hit or miss! I will keep that in mind when I man up and get around to watching it :)

I will :) I am reading Pawn by Aimee Carter right now, which is dystopian, but I am not sure how much I like it! I read her Goddess series and it was great, but I am not feeling this book much. Have you read Poison Princess by Kresley Cole? We met her at the book festival in Houston last year, and she was so funny she convinced us to by her ya dystopian series and it was amazing!! The Pledge by Kimberly Meyers Derting is really good, too! Under the Never Sky by Veronica Rossi is one my favorites, too :)

I don't think I've ever met another Texan on here! It's very nice to meet you :) and you love to read as well, I do love that combination! What do you like to read?
I have not watched Cruel City, but it is one that I really was interested in! But I heard it has a sad ending, and I am incredibly anti-sad ending.
I really enjoyed this drama, then the dead wife turned up. Then things went downhill and this turned into the…
EXACTLY! And if they were going to give her a happy ending, why didn't they try to make her a more sympathetic character? There was nothing about her that I felt sorry for her about! When Woo Ri refused to see her, I felt like cheering for him and laughing in that awful woman's face.
Its true that the drama got boring maybe its the extension? ? But anyways I liked the ending, it's like going…
I liked that the ending brought us around full circle, but I was a little disappointed that it ended in a hand shake. I'd have liked a little 2 minute jump even farther in the future to them actually getting married again, or maybe even just happy together with the kids.
It was pretty good! There were a lot of things I would have changed, and the last few episodes kind of fizzled out. So long as you don't go into it expecting a passionate romance, I think it's worth the watch :)
enjoyed this alot but after the dead wife showed up i got kinda boring and annoying but still it was a good watch
I wholeheartedly agree! I didn't like the whole wife back from the dead aspect. It felt like filler material and just something thrown in to derail the main couple because they couldn't think of anything better. This show could have been so amazing if it weren't for the last 3 episodes!

I wasn't a huge fan of the His Dark Materials series, but I know a lot of people who think they are amazing! I am fan of both stand alone and series, it really just depends on how good the writer is! I prefer nothing longer than a trilogy though, just because I will lose interest after a few years of always waiting for the next book.
Fantasy-wise, I can't say that I am too familiar with a lot of stand alone books. Fantasy writers tend to write sagas. I would recommend Tamora Pierce's Song of the Lioness series. It's Young Adult, and they are just incredibly amazing. Alanna is such a strong, independent heroine and Tamora Pierce just knows how to craft an intriguing story.
Science Fiction-wise, I would highly recommend These Broken Stars by Aimee Kaufman and Meagan Spooner. It is part of a companion trilogy, but all the books stand alone and you don't have to read the others if you don't want to. It is so beautifully written, and it is so descriptive, even if you have trouble with imagining the science fiction elements, the writers lay out everything so perfectly for you.
Apparently I ramble on too much about books :p

Of course I don't mind, it's always fantastic meeting fellow readers/drama addicts :) I just finished These Broken Stars by Megan Spooner and Aimee Kaufman and now I'm working on finishing Siege and Storm by Leigh Bardugo. I have an obsession with YA science fiction and fantasy :) How about you, read anything good lately?
I've watched every drama of hers except The Vineyard Man, is it as good as her other ones?? Is it reallyy worth…
It is a little slow to start, but it is amazing! It's a little reminiscent of her drama Take Care of the Young Lady, in terms of how spoiled her character is in the beginning. Once you get past that though, it becomes absolutely enjoyable :)
