Howdy :) it's absolutely not weird, just lovely! Glad that my profile is enjoyable :) I see you are new to the insane world of Asian dramas, it's a fun road ahead! You're starting Flower Boy Next Door! One of my favorite romcoms, I hope you love it. Enrique is just ridiculously adorable :)

I only watched the first episode, but I like it so far! I agree the main actress is gorgeous! They may be bad at basketball, but is it sad that I think they could almost definitely beat me easily? :p

On a side note, I hurt my hand and I am having surgery on it today, so it might be a couple days before I am able to watch more episodes! The medicine makes me too sleepy to pay attention to subtitles :p

The Hobbit is an excellent book! I felt the same way about the movies, I didn't think there was any way that the movies could do the books justice. But then LotR was so amazing, I decided to give it a shot and I was pleasantly surprised! What is equal parts interesting and annoying about the movies is how much more of the story they are giving us. I like that they are pulling in details from The Unfinished Tales and The Silmarillion, and I know that his son is playing a part in okaying the parts that Jackson is adding that isn't canon, but it does make me nervous, too!

I have always been obsessed with fantasy novels, and I do enjoy a good thriller every now and then. In high school, I read mostly adult books and now I find that in my adulthood I am reverting to reading young adult books, so I do have a lot of YA books as well.

Avoiding conflict can be a good thing :) But adding to the conversation is definitely a good thing, too!

It's great that you love to read anything! I'm so picky, it's almost debilitating :p I've never met anyone who collects Japanese literature!

I worry that I overstep quite often, but some comments find me ill-suited to just walk away. But I do agree, it's nice knowing there is someone out there who feels the same way you do :)

I don't find this bad news at all. Anyone who did something illegal should be punished by law; that's about it.
@CheerfulSoul: It's a worthy opinion to have, and to an extent I agree with you! I just think that circumstances have a bigger impact than any blanket statement could cover. I think one thing we can all agree on is that just because they are celebrities, they should not be shielded from the consequences of their actions. We just disagree on those consequences :)

I didn't want to interject into this argument, but I find that I must agree with notsolittlej in terms of CheerfulSoul's black and white adherence to the idea that all people who break the laws are a criminal and worthy of her derision and punishment. Society is a constant evolutionary marvel. What was illegal 100 years ago is commonplace now, and what is illegal now will be alien to the people of the world in another 100 years.

In some countries, it is illegal to be gay. In some countries, gay people can be killed on the spot for being homosexual, and in some countries women can be brought up on charges for reporting a rape. Giving absolute power to a governing body is dangerous; as the old saying goes absolute power corrupts absolutely.

As to these women's struggles with addiction, I'd say that the fact that no one was hurt but themselves in this situation should have called for leniency on the court's part, at least in terms of rehab versus prison.

Hahahaha, love diamond :p That seems to be more and more popular these days! Hopefully all of the pieces of the diamond stay likable and don't drift off into goody goody territory :p

Is there any kind of love triangle going on in Heirs? I am glad that it is staying steady!

Haha, I am glad to meet another Hound fan ;) I adore Sandor, but not a lot of people do!

No, I haven't! My American TV shows friends have kept me captive this week! After I caught up with some Doctor Who, my Supernatural friend wanted me to catch up on season 8 with her, so I've been doing that all weekend :p But we are watching the last episode in a minute or two, so hopefully will start something later tonight!

Haha, see I ramble on so much I don't even pay attention to what I'm saying! Favorite house is easily House Stark! It has the most characters that are dear to my heart! Favorite characters are much harder! And different if we are talking about the books versus the show. In the show I LOVE Sandor Clegane! In the books not as much, but I really like him in the show. In the show I also love Arya, Tyrion and Daenerys. In the books, I don't like Daenerys at all, though I still love Tyrion and Arya the most. Tyrion is just ridiculously funny and so clever! His storyline breaks my heart so much! And Arya is just so brave and frank. If I got to choose who I wanted to take over the Iron Throne it would easily be Arya or Tyrion!

How about you, which are your favorites?

I definitely feel the same about your recs :)
