Yea, I think around that time I was just so tired with all of the lies and the ridiculously poor spy work that I couldn't even care if they got together or not :p Did you manage to finish it?

Hey, LD! Hope everything has been good with you :) I just got back from my girl's weekend and jonesing for a movie night! I don't have work tomorrow, so I am free all day if you want to watch something after you get out of school! Or later that night or this week is good for me too :)

I just got back from my book signing/girl's weekend! We had a blast, but I am having crazy withdrawals from Kdramas!!! What are you watching right now?
I am glad the surgery was simple! 2 months sounds like a long time, but it will be over before you know it :) Especially with such great distractions at your disposal :p
My younger brother got a bonus for making it to the All Star's Volleyball team and bought himself a MAC, and I inherited his older laptop! So now watching movies with you guys will be so much easier! I am free all day tomorrow if you guys want to set something up! I have missed our chats :)

I am dying for All About My Lovers to finish!! And even more so now that you said it's like H Lovers!!! I need something light and fresh like that!! I just got back from my weekend away, I hope you are having a great weekend in Napa Valley! That's so nice y'all get away for your anniversary :) I am glad I am not the only one having troubles with it! Akumi also said she couldn't get into. Is there anything that you have on your to watch list that seems light and fluffy? I think we need fluff!!
I read an article on Cracked the other day that said that all of the important scenes in Stanley Kubrick's movies happen in bathrooms! It's so funny how people pick up on these things :p The bathroom scenes in kdramas are ubiquitous, it's really hard to find a drama that doesn't have either a scene with someone on the toilet, or with someone talking about needing a toilet in a frank way. For the most part, that is absent from Western culture! Toilet habits tend to be hidden, almost shameful, especially by women!

My day was pretty uneventful yesterday! Went to work and then did some shopping :) I am heading out of town tomorrow morning for a girls weekend, so I of course had to buy some new clothes :p How about you? How's work going? Any big papers in front of you right now? I just cannot get into Prosecutor Princess :( Are you having better luck?

I don't think I can get into PP either! I can't tell if it's this stupid slump or not, though! I haven't started anything either though, just kind of rewatching my favorites for now. My nana is coming up to stay with us tonight, and then tomorrow I head to Houston for my girls weekend! Sooo excited :) We should plan something for next week to watch a movie together!
You had surgery already! Wow, they moved fast on that! Glad to hear that it is healing properly, though. And homebound stinks, but at least you have lots of lovely Asian boys to keep you company :p And Chris, too I'm sure! When will you be able to move around freely?

That is hilarious!! My friend is getting her second Master's degree in Vietnamese folklore, and she gets to watch Vietnamese dramas that are adaptations of folklores for school! I'm jealous :p I am also listening to Faith's soundtrack right now!! I love looking through the little book of pictures that came with it! They picked some really awesome Min Ho pictures.

I was supposed to tell you we were starting Prosecutor Princess! I've only watched one episode though :p How did your doctor's appointment go? Hope you got good news!

Also, I've had some last minute work to do, so I've had King2hearts in the background on, and I noticed something I hadn't before! In episode 7 they have some actors give their well wishes on the engagement and the first actress is the mom from Goong (also, she was the aunt from My girlfriend is a Gumiho)! I thought that was funny since Goong is also an alternate reality where there are kings in Korea :p the things you notice after seeing a drama so many times :p

It made today the best day ever :) I was tearing up at work over it, my bosses kept asking me what it was, and there is just no way to explain how thoughtful something is to someone who isn't as addicted as we are :p

Minoz!! I got a package from you, chickadee :) It totally made my day! I am so glad to have such an amazing friend :)
I also want to say that I grew to love Song Shi-won of Reply 1997. She's one of my favourite heroines. Her crazy,…
It's been half that for me, so my days of arguing with friends over our different crushes seems like just yesterday! I like to think that I've grown a little, but then I come here and fangirl with everybody and realize I really am just that 18 year old trapped in a 24 year old's body :p

That is so true! It's a little unfair to say that Si Won was childish, when she was, in fact, a child for the vast majority of show. Lord knows my anime and Lord of the Rings addiction as a teen could hardly be considered "adult" :p
Haha, while my love for all of these women has me bristling at the title they are fighting for, I can admit that despite my love, these women were definitely lacking in the brains department. However, where you see Hee Jin as dumb for finding uses for mundane things in order to kiss Boong Do, I see brilliance! I'm mostly joking :p
But seriously, I actually liked that a lot about Hee Jin. Instead of pretending to be aloof and indifferent to the lead male, like so many other lead females, she took what she wanted. She had desires and she accepted them and went after them. I'll take that any day over a woman who wants a kiss (or more) but says no because it isn't proper or ladylike. None of these women are in the running for a MacArthur Grant, but they do all have the same thing in common (minus go Mi Nam). They didn't just hem and haw about the men in their lives and pretend to not be interested. They owned their feelings and that to me is more empowering than a drama with a brainiac woman who refuses to acknowledge her own feelings.
That photo of Ha Ni in this article cracked me up so much, though :p She is one of my more detested lead females, though I do admire her guts to go after someone she liked! I just wish she had had a little more self respect and given up after he tore her down over the letter.

The music makes me heart ache so much! That's why I've watched it so many times, even just hearing one of the songs makes me start it all over again!
