Actually kinda interested in this for the FL... The plot on the other hand...
Haha, I can relate! I'm a big fan of Renn (the ML) so I'm really intending to watch this but the plot is quite.... XD;;; I've also read the 1st chapter of the manga and cringed a bit lol (or maybe I'm just not the biggest fan of shoujo mangas). I hope both of them will do well in this drama though!
I'm really enjoying Asahi and Kira's interactions and dynamics but I wonder if it's just me who wants them to stay as very good friends or wants their relationship to stay platonic by end of the series? I really like what Asahi said that not everyone needs romance in their life and as someone who thinks the same way, I'm thinking it would be great if by the end of the series, she's still single but very happy, and did not become happy (or happier) because she fell in love with Kira or something like that. Like I want them to keep supporting each other and for Kira to learn a lot of things from Asahi (like how to treat other people properly and appreciate them better) and become more mature as a person while he's trying to get on her good side, all without being in a romantic relationship. Of course if they'll end up together romantically that would be fine too, as long as it will be done naturally and if it will be the reason for better character development, but after watching the first 3 episodes, I prefer the former for now. (Of course it's still possible that I'll change my mind depending on the next episodes)
Quite a good watch (you got lots of social commentary on COVID-19 impacts), but I really wished they exploit more…
Same thoughts! The setting/universe they created is already very interesting, having Sou and Aoi being immature vampires but since each episode somehow focuses more on the guest character, we didn't really get to know much about Sou and Aoi and their other capabilities as vampires.
Actually I'm also not so sure about this (but I'm sure their banishment has been lifted)! D: It seems they did…
Oooh, thanks for your thoughts! That's definitely possible about Kishioka... I guess Aoi and Sou need to be independent from hereon. For Mia and Osono, I'm really interested to know the technicalities of what happened between them because it's a bit hard for me to imagine. XD
It's quite unfortunate that they had to reduce the series to 8 episodes versus 10 episodes intended, maybe that's why there are some things that they didn't manage to show/explain further anymore. T-T
Anyway, thank you so much again for subbing this series!! <3
Am at episode 2 and Kiriyama Renn is such a joy to watch XD I love how extra he is with this character.
I agree! He's so wild~! XD I think it's dangerous to have Renn play as a support character if the character is too rich/active since he tends to steal the show lol.
Actually I'm also not so sure about this (but I'm sure their banishment has been lifted)! D: It seems they did…
That's what I was thinking too but I really didn't get what Mia and Osono exactly did. XD; Also why did Kishioka leave after their banishment has been lifted, it seems we were supposed to get why, based on Sou's narration. I may need to rewatch to understand it better.... But it's really an open ending so someday I hope we can get a sequel that focuses more on Aoi and Sou instead of the guests~
Did AS and SK stayed as blue vampires? I got the impression that they did, and at the same time were no longer…
Actually I'm also not so sure about this (but I'm sure their banishment has been lifted)! D: It seems they did stay as blue vampires, but I'm wondering what did they do to prevent themselves from being banished? Did they just have a good conversation with the seniors? Haha! Also, I'm wondering what they mean that they "changed?".... So many questions~! ^^;;
In love ~~ Rihito as Meguro-kun is so perfect ... I can't imagine another actor like Meguro ... Kira & Asahi surprised…
Kira is in the manga and is also a famous model and a close friend (+ under same modeling agency) of Meguru (although drama!Kira seems wackier lol), Asahi is a drama-only character. :) As far as I read from the scanlated chapters, there's no love interest for Kira in the manga yet (though not sure about the recent chapters released in Japan)...
It's finished~~~~ I still have so many unanswered questions, I hope it gets to have a sequel someday.... *___* Aoi and Sou are very cute until the end. <3
I'm quite surprised that Mia is actually lesbian (based on episode 5) but I think it's a nice touch! :O Now maybe my Sou x Aoi ship has a chance.... *coughs* XDD
That's great~! I want many people to watch other Renn's dramas as well because he's such a great actor! I think as a main character he doesn't have that much romantic dramas (though his next drama will be one!), so I can only think of Daisy Luck wherein he had a supporting role . As for non-romantic ones my favorite so far is Kamen Rider W (even though I'm not a toku fan at all!). There are also other nice dramas wherein he played as a support character like "Kore wa Keihi de Ochimasen!" and "Iine! Hikaru Genji-kun ". ^^
I have!! :D After watching him in OjiKawa, I basically became obsessed and watched as many dramas of him as possible~! I was surprised when I found out that he was already 26-27 y/o in Switch Girl playing as a high school student! :O He looked even younger than Nika's actress! XD
At first I thought he was being literal but I think he was being figurative with his words. Maybe he did fail…
Thanks for your insight! I also remembered that Aoi said their powers are useless but Sou said he has confidence in his, so I thought it would be much funnier if he did attempt to transform into a cat but failed. XD But I guess his "cat impersonation" has a tiny effect since Hana's mom became obsessed with cats, haha!
After watching episode 2 with subs, I'm still confused if Sou actually intended to transform as a cat but failed?? XD (Since it seems vampires in classical literature can transform into cats)
