Yes, I guess they're trying to compress around 3 chapters per episode. :O At this point I'm just waiting for Fukami to appear so maybe he will be introduced in the next episode (I skipped reading from chapter 5 to 9 just to check him out but they only showed his smile haha!). XD

I thought the OjiKawa production team (which is the same with Colorful Love's production team) already made Renn do a lot of crazy things in OjiKawa but they definitely leveled up here. XD There's no end to Kira-sama's wackiness haha! They definitely know how to use Renn best lol.

Hahaha yes, a lot of Japanese fans of the manga think Renn is too young for Hase (I think they didn't search Renn's age because the ones who did were surprised to learn he's already 36 lol). I also think one of the main reasons they casted Renn is because he's great at kissing scenes! XD But I also feel like they didn't get an actor who is older or looks more mature because in live-action it might be more awkward to watch already, considering that Sakurako just turned 23 (but this is just my opinion)...

Haha same! My head has associated that song with Kira forever so when it was played in a Sasame scene I expected Kira to suddenly appear. XD

Hahaha no it's definitely not just you!! When Renn was announced as Hase, a lot of manga fans complained that he's "too young" for this role. I was low-key annoyed because Renn is already 36, how is that "too young"???? But at the same time I can't blame them because he really looks young lol. Although in the manga Hase is a guy "around his 40s but doesn't look like it" so for that setting I guess Renn is perfect. XD

Oh you managed to read until chapter 10 (I only read until chapter 5)~! I heard there are already 11 volumes out in Japan so while I'm not really interested in the story/manga itself, I'm curious what other storylines are there in 11 volumes and if there's finally a solid plot haha!

Generally I think main couples tend to get together in Jdramas during the latter part of the series or sometimes during the last episode even haha (based on what I've watched so far but I haven't watched that much romance Jdramas), but this one is based on a smutty shoujo manga and that's how the first chapter went in the manga so... ^^;;;;

So I tried to read at least until chapter 5 of the manga the other day (at first I only read the first chapter and stopped there because I cringed haha) and I must say they seem to really follow it closely (although they skipped/combined some parts due to limited airtime so the already fast things somehow became even faster).
So my suggestion is that if you're planning to watch this, read at least the first chapter of the manga first and if it makes you cringe, don't bother watching this one further to save yourself from any headache. XD Because seriously, the manga (at least based on what I read so far) is just focused on Hase and Momoko sexy times lol (they even went a bit farther in the scene where they are inside Momoko's house, but the drama toned it down a bit). But if you love Renn like me (or any of the cast), then by all means, let's suffer until the very end of this haha!
OR!! If you're too lazy to check out the manga, please watch the teaser first!!!!! It mostly only shows them kissing with no mention of the plot whatsoever so I don't know what other people were expecting to see (aside from kiss scenes lol) when they started this. XD
(Also, this is airing in the same channel with Coffee & Vanilla so I guess MBS is into stories like this lol)

I'm so relieved they only let Kira mope over Asahi rejecting him for like 5 minutes in one episode lol, and now he's back to his usual fabulous self. I laughed at the scene in episode 7 where Asahi was pushing him and he ended up falling haha! But so sad that there are only 3 episodes left. :(((

Haha he only appeared once in a while, he was the FL's colleague and the not-really-love rival. XD Also you may already know that Asahi's actress was there too but if I remember correctly they had almost no interaction. ^^;

Well... personally the drama(?) I enjoyed best with Renn would be Kamen Rider W, haha! I'm even surprised at myself because I'm not a toku fan at all, but I ended up being addicted to it and his role as Shotaro. Also "Codename Mirage" but it isn't completely subbed so I had to watch it in a Chinese site with Chinese subs which I tried to read using Google Translate camera. XD "Ojisan wa Kawaii Mono ga Osuki" is also cute, that's where I became a fan of him after all. Then there are also some other dramas where he only had limited appearance but I enjoyed watching nonetheless such as "Kore wa Keihi de Ochimasen!" and "Soratobu Kouhoushitsu". For movie I loved watching him in "Laughing Under the Clouds". *_*

Yeah, I kind of expected it since I tried to read the manga when this was announced as Renn's new project and was also quite "???" at the plot, or lack thereof lol (mostly I thought because I'm not used to shoujo mangas) that I stopped reading after the first chapter. XD So yeah, understandable. I even became more worried because out of all Renn's dramas, why are they making this one available in various overseas platforms?!? XD

Uwaah quite surprised that some people are already calling this trash after just one episode but I mean I can't blame you (I kind of expected such reaction when I tried to read the manga so I've been really worried about Renn whom I love so much). XD Hopefully the series will get better because Renn and Sakurako are such great actors, it would be a waste of their talents if the drama will continue to be like a PWP fanfic... (sighs) :(

Also, I've only ever watched Renn in dramas with good/fascinating plots so I seriously hope this drama will do him more good than harm since so far I can't see any plot lol (same feelings when I read the first chapter of the manga which they seem to follow very closely haha). ^^;;;

I watched this 30 mins after watching the latest episode of Colorful Love and my brain almost short-circuited. XD The difference between Renn's Kira-sama and Hase is too huge lol. Also, it might still take a while for me to be comfortable watching Renn doing kiss scenes as I have only been watching him doing cute and eccentric roles lately. But yes, he was not exaggerating when he said this drama has already far exceeded all the kiss scenes he has ever done in his career haha!

If Asahi will continue to ignore Kira I'm just gonna ship Kira with the president, they are both quirky. XDDD
