I think I might drop this... I'm only on ep 7 but.. Why do they have to waste time on other characters and unnecessary scenes and not just focus on Chang Ge and Ashile Sun, I literally watched a 16 minutes fmv about them and the whole 49 episodes were, unlike the original drama (imo), perfectly explained and it all made sense - while also looking aesthetically pleasing.
I don't know if it's just me but I've found that a lot of historical cdramas presume the audience already understands and knows all the characters and premises of the plot in the beginning, there's just too much information thrown at me that I have no idea what's going on until like episode 30.
Could someone please recommend some historical cdramas that are easy to comprehend and follow while being constantly entertaining and interesting (+ not a lot of political/war aspects)? Thank you so much in advance!
Episode 5 and 6 were really good - 10/10 quality imo, I'm loving the cast so much! The interactions are the best, especially between Dan Hwal and Nam Do Yoon, they are so cute ^^ I can lowkey see a little trio forming later in the series between Do Yoon, Min Sang Woon and Dan Sol (I'm living for it)! And ugh Ok Eul Tae's so sexy..
Finished this a moment ago. I think I'm traumatised from just watching the son live with all this chaos, poor angel, he deserves the whole world and more! I feel so empty now, there's like a hole in my heart.. This was one hectic thrilling emotional painful ride wow, binged it in 2 days though, definitely means I had a lot of interest in the plot and characters - it did drag a tad bit in the second half but not in a bad way? I think it was just because it was stressful like holy moly can my mental health handle this lol. Overall 9/10, this certainly leaves a lingering feeling after completing it ^^;
