I really hated that Mild had to apologize because people were complaining he talked too much in the series but…
I loved techno in season 1 every little bit of him that came on. he was funny and mature and everything he said was actually relevant and on point. the actor is really good too.
this season they have just made the character so annoying. just a lot of random chatter and loud noises.

Teh's crying: I found it a bit irritating also until he was doing it with Hoon and then it put it into perspective.…
lol. Totally me too!

I really love TharnType season 1. Type is my favourite character. This season i'm actually forwarding Type's scenes…
I did find a lot of what you mention interesting. Obviously what happens to our main guys is interesting but we don't need three whole episodes dragging out this "normal" life. We can understand Type has changed and matured even at the end of season 1. And we would naturally get that as we watch him go through life challenges (if any actually start to happen) this season.
I'm really glad you are liking it because I'm really not.
I just feel a lot of these episodes are plain boiled rice with a little spec of tasty something rare, few and far in between. If drama and spicy things are on the menu then bring them out already and preferably to our own characters and not some other randoms who we haven't really built a relationship with.
But that just me.
We all watch everything from our own unique perspective, filters, expectations and life experiences so we get engaged or not depending on how they hook us personally (as for season 1 you and I found it a different experience.)
But it really comforts me that you are enjoying this so hopefully other people are too. maybe someday my mind state will be different and I will come back and watch this again and go "wow!"

LOL why some of y'all got this twisted.. this season had just as many NC or kiss scenes as the first season....…
I really love TharnType season 1. Type is my favourite character.
This season i'm actually forwarding Type's scenes because they are boring which I never thought I would do.
The only character that gets my interest is Fiat who it looks like something interesting may be happening to or is going to do.

In season 1 we were closely tied in to Type. The story went from significant moment to significant moment keeping us thrilled. The characters were going through life changing events and we were anxiously with them through each step.

I'm sure during season 1 he also had plenty of boring normal days where not much happened but sleep, eat, school work .... we didn't get forced to endlessly watch all the details of those as they weren't relevant to the main exciting thread of the story.

I'm sure most of James Bond's days are probably very boring too where he just gets up, farts around and spends days at the office filling in paperwork and typing reports etc. But no one expects a whole show of him doing that stuff and probably not that many would be that interested in it.

1/4 of this season has already passed and there is no exciting thread or story. our loved characters have started living a boring life (i assume we are being shown the most exciting parts of their boring lives at that).

And this isn't reality TV where every part of every day is interesting.

All the other characters you mention apart from Fiat none has done anything to catch my attention. They are like some boring background to a boring show.

As you can see i'm disappointed because I really loved this show and expected it to be just as exciting a story as the first season. Its a made up story so the writer could have made it as exciting as the first time and given our heroes some more exciting things to do.

Anyway, that's my twist. I'm really happy you are enjoying it and so giving some love to these characters, so maybe there is still hope.

And the acting and sound affects of some of the "funny" moments is just weird.
I wouldn't write all that if i didnt' care.

From the lack of series and films similar to this masterpiece, im just stuck re-watching this series over and…
You've probably already seen it but Together With Me is also very good. The story is similar of old friends reuniting years later and kind of follows a similar path but at a different age.
ITSAY is when we are young and our passions keep setting us on wildfire.
TWM is about when you are a bit older the passions still ignite but you also have a better grip on the controls. Things get just as intense.

Shows I'm always happy to re-watch are:
I Told Sunset About You - obviously :)
Togher With Me
Addicted
TharnType (season 1 only - this season 2 is just boring and I'm even skipping Type's scenes)
Love Sick

What shows are other people happy to re-watch. may give us all some good things we missed?

I simply can't move on from this show . And I keep re-watching only to notice those smaller and finer details-…
Teh's crying: I found it a bit irritating also until he was doing it with Hoon and then it put it into perspective. It's just his personal trait to cry like that. I have friends and family who get like that also. Now I actually find it endearing as it pushes him out to be an even more real person rather than a perfect character. Like his brother knows; he can be a crybaby. So i suspect this is something Hoon has grown up putting up with from Teh and pulls us into this world at an even deeper level. Now when I find his crying scenes come up I feel a bit like Hoon might feel and see them as important rather than irritating.

where is the interesting stuff? this season so far is just boring people doing boring stuff at home then going to work doing boring stuff there and coming home to do more boring stuff.

season one was exciting, thrilling and gripping most of the way through.

also i loved techno in season 1. he was really funny and i loved his appearances. this season he is like a loud annoying insect that suddenly pops up.

and it feels very .... cartooni in places.

I don't think Bas' feelings were that strong. He has shown himself to be collected and confident about his approach…
Bas reminds me of a person who keeps walking past a shop window where inside is something beautiful that he really wants to buy, but he admires it but never bothers to put his hand in his wallet and just keeps walking past each time because the feelings are never really that strong enough even though he has all the cash. But one day he sees someone inside actually pick it up and Bas is like oh crap. Now he rushes to buy it. But is it because he really wanted it in which case why didn't he buy it before? Or is it just that he didn't want the other person to have it but he himself obviously isn't really that strongly wanting it or he would have bought it before. Fortunately for him the other person that time didn't have the right kind of cash.

Teh's light reflected off Oh is all that illuminates Bas for us. So we only see a sketch of this person really and most of him is in shadow. Maybe the next episodes will reveal more.

Thank you Robertitia :)

You have put it even better and clearer than I did.

I love how we have come to care so much for this gift of a show. Not often in our lives something so beautiful comes along that touches us all over and makes us feel such an endless feast of emotions. It is to be cherished and shared.

I like to believe the magic and fully live in the fantasy. So I never watch any documentaries etc to show me how I was tricked to make it so. I would hate to spoil my wonderment, joy and fantasy which I intend to enjoy forever by having it cut apart by behind the scenes reality because it is never the same after.

I hope you are having an amazing time.

Excellent. Truly excellent. I only have one thing to ask. Can we please...PLEASE...have a happy ending coming…
I don't think Bas' feelings were that strong. He has shown himself to be collected and confident about his approach and sexuality and as he claimed to like Oh for such a long time there wasn't anything stopping him being just as direct before if the feelings were really that strong. It was just that he got a little scare this time from Teh that made him go "oh crap. lets try." And Oh's attraction was there but probably only to a point and probably got smothered after Teh came along. I didn't see much (was there any?) playfulness or flirting between the two either.

Bas is lovely character and I do hope he ends up with someone he loves with all his heart and who loves and cares for him back.

Compare this to Teh's feelings. They are all consuming and all devouring and they eat up pretty much all parts of his life. His time, his thinking, his goals, his family aspirations ..... and so on. Probably from the moment he set eyes back on Oh at the return he was done for (I'm not sure exactly when that moment was for Oh but probably end of episode 2 - the boat scene.) . But he and Oh have a multi-layerd relationship so obviously its going to be a richer and fuller experience.

So for Bas and Tarn they yearned but they will be fine because the fire they were on was not as hot.

He met him.
He hurt him.
He loved him.
He hurt him.
He loved him.
He hurt him.
and in each of these, he also hurt himself, until the last time, when he just loved him.

Thank you for taking us along for a ride in your heart and the memories.

Best show ever.
