ABout to start this. Ive read a lot of comments saying how ML looks in love with her, but none of the opposite.…
Yeah, the ML showed a lot of love and caring unlike the FL. Who would blame her though? She fought and objected to her superiors who wanted her to breakup with the ML. She even stood up against the ML’s mum and insisted she won’t break up, but she didn’t openly show her affections for some obvious reasons. It wasn’t a bad thing, you would also understand why she chose not to openly show affection to the ML, but she gave in towards the end and openly declared her love. Personally, I understood her grounds hence, it meant nothing to me. I would probably play out the same if I were to be her.
Hmmm….I haven’t dropped any comment here for a while, but this brought me out of shell.
For starters, I am not a fan of sport related dramas because I find them very boring and annoying. And I’m also not a fan of older woman/younger man. Honestly, this drama brought a different vibe. I was very reluctant to watch this for a while but got very bored over the weekend and I decided to take a look.
This was everything I wanted in a drama. Every episode was interesting and intriguing. I didn’t have any cause to fast forward or skip any scene. I watched with my body and soul, never missed any details. I must give kudos to the script writers, actors, directors and everyone that worked so hard to make this happen. You guys made my weekend.
I loved a lot of things about this drama. It wasn’t like the average Asian drama with a lot of stupid break ups;
No crazy crush trying to get the ML/FL by all means. The crush knew their boundaries, nobody tried to force his/her love on anyone. No unnecessary misunderstanding . No evil mum or siblings. It was a stress free drama yet mind blowing.
I learned a lot watching this drama. Hard work, determination, having a healthy relationship can work wonders. I understood what it feels to be rejected especially by those you love.
And as the for leads, I loved them. The kisses were real and not like the normal Chinese movies. They behaved like real couples.
I loved every character. I love the castings, they are all cute and the acting was amazing. All natural, it wasn’t forced.
Overall, I loved it and I smiled all through. I have seen a lot of Chinese dramas, for now, these are my best. In no particular order;
Boss and Me You’re my glory Falling into you
Lastly, if you’re having a second thought about this, please go ahead. Have an open mind and you will definitely love it.
Not yet! I paused it for “Crazy Love” but I will continue watching again this weekend. I’m not really a fan of politics and stuff. A friend literally begged me to watch Mr Queen, I only agreed to make her happy. As it stands, I’m watching to fulfill my promise…LOL. I hope to get fulfillment for myself too. Fingers crossed
Well, I don’t know how to feel about this drama. I don’t know if it was good or not because it had a lot of distractions.
For starters, I disliked the level of infidelity they displayed. It was way too much. Like, why would someone comfortably cheat on their spouses without regrets? I couldn’t place my hand on why the writers made the ladies a high profiled cheaters. Okay, I get most of the marriages were a mess, but I still don’t get why they would easily jump on the next man/woman that said “hey” and boom! It got me mad like WTF??? I faulted every one of them that cheated because to me, it was so unnecessary.
Don’t get me wrong, I liked the story but I feel it was wasted for no reason. Yes, the ladies were victimized by their husbands except the carpenter who was bullied by his wife, but still, the story would have been put to a good use rather than what it was used for. At some point, I wondered if the writers were trying to glorify cheating or they wanted to make it seem normal to do so whenever there’s crisis in marriage.
However, I could still spare Sakura and the lady that had memory lost. I loved their story and what it portrayed. Generally, I loved all the stories, it learnt a lot of lessons. It kinda of revealed a lot.
As for the ending, I wasn’t too mad at the way they decided to separate Sakura and Haruo. After all, there’s nothing bad for anyone to be selfish and choose himself/herself so yea, it wasn’t totally bad. People heal differently, but as for this case, the break up wasn’t necessary. I mean Haruto supported her, he encouraged her and made her a better version of herself so why break them up? And it was pretty obvious she loved him back.
Anyway, I still can’t give a full verdict on this, but one thing I know this is, I loved the erotic theme. Lol was it too much? Maybe but I don’t think I complained.
I would want to applaud their fashion sense. The ladies dressed elegantly as compared to many Jdramas I have seen and it felt different. I loved it like crazy. In my head, I was like “so this can be obtainable in Jworld?”
Will I watch again? Maybe not!
Would I recommend this? Well, it depends on my mood . For erotic, yes but for morals and fulfillment one would want to derive from a drama, NO! I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. Nevertheless, it boils down to personal preference. Either way, cheers and enjoy!
Am I the only who finds Mr Queen’s attitude annoying? How can he constantly show disrespect to the throne? Is it even allowed? I find it very hard to watch. Currently on episode 8, and I’m wondering if it does get better or I should stop right here? Mr Queen is too razz for my liking, I can’t stand it.
Again, I also don’t like the fact that the Chef’s soul completely took over the Queen’s body. I wanted it to be a 50-50 thing.
Please, can someone tell me if it will get better?
This drama was as bland and as dry as unseasoned chicken and KFC biscuits. The leads were boring, the characters…
Omg!!! These lines made my day “ dry as unseasoned chicken and KFC biscuits.” how on earth did you come up with that? I literally, laughed out so loud that everyone stared at me like I was crazy or something.
Honestly, this is the best adaptation by far. Wow! It was worth the wait. I knew my heart couldn’t stand it with the weekly episodes and stuff hence I had to wait till the last episode and gosh, I was blown away.
For starters, I have seen all the remarks and I loved them all, but this right here? It has no rivalry. Well, in all honesty, the Chinese remark left a mark in my heart. I loved the wedding part to the moon and back. Until now, it has been my best adaptation, but I’m so sorry MG, I have to let you go because F4 effortlessly took your spot.
Again, I don’t think the universe will ever forget me if I fail to write about how cute those actors are. Wow! I was amazed at their beauty. I can’t pinpoint who’s the most beautiful because they are all so cute. All F4 members, Gorya’s beauty is simply out of this world. I can’t even describe how cute she is. I fell in love with their faces from A-Z.
Where do I start from? Okay, let’s see…. I loved the fact they totally remade everything differently . Yes, it has the same storyline but it was kinda of unique in a way. The scenes made more sense especially when Thyme lost his lost. When I watched Jdrama remark, I was furious where the unknown lady came from and suddenly wanted to have the ML. It made no sense to me, but this one was well scripted and realistic. This alone was a huge plus for me. In fact, I love how they stole the show from every other remarks without trying so hard. It was brilliant
I also loved the fact that the writers stylishly treated the ills we face in our society. The consequences of our actions, bullying, friendship, lack of love from parents, issues common amongst teenagers etc. I love how it portrayed bullying even from parents. It showed how teens are dying to be loved, how much they depend on each other and a lot. Kudos to the writers for doing an amazing job. I totally enjoyed and learned a lot of lessons.
F4: wow! The bond, the love they shared. How they helped each other, solve issues together, how they help one another to see reasons and come to realization. It was so cool. I enjoyed this F4 most than in other remarks. Oh gosh, how can I forget to mention MJ’s hair style….it killed me. Why am I blushing? Lol I loved REN’s character more here. He respected his friendship with Thyme. He knew where to draw the line and it was so beautiful to watch unlike the other remarks. Nevertheless, I want to protest on his behalf. C’mon writers, Ren deserved to be loved. Give this young man a girlfriend, we shouldn’t allow all this cuteness to go into waste. #JusticeForRen
And as for Thyme and Gorya, a match made in heaven. I loved the chemistry so much. However, it still beats my imagination why these writers never gave the leads at least one or two episodes to be together without having to solve any problems. It’s so unfair. I wouldn’t mind a remark where three episodes will be dedicated to the leads to go on proper dates, spend time together and actually be a couple.
In summary, I loved this very much. Surprisingly, I loved Thyme’s mum . Every scene made sense. It wasn’t boring, it kept me glued from episode 1 to the very last minute. So if you are still giving this a second thought, stop right there and watch it already. I promise you won’t regret it. I would recommend this even to my enemy that’s how nice I am. Lol
Kudos to everyone that worked on this project. From the production team, the directors, writers, actors, and every single soul that graced this drama, I wanna say thank you from the bottom of my heart. You guys did amazingly good. Keep up the good work and I promise to never stop watching. Cheers !!!
Well, I guess I’m the only one different about this drama. It annoyed me like crazy. It has no bearing whatsoever.
The FL was so timid and each time she called “Director” my annoyance triggered by 80%. I couldn’t place my hand where the story was going and boom, it was the last episode.
Gosh, I’m in a tight fix right now. I guess I’d have to stop watching drama based on comments because it has failed me severally.
The only thing that kept me going was the ML not that I liked his role here so much, but I tried to picture him in other dramas and it helped me a great deal hence I kept on watching for his sake aside the ML, everything annoyed me.
And it was so boring. The FL would take 60 seconds to say a word plus her facial expressions were very annoying.
In summary, it was a no-no for me. I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone at all. Nothing made sense to me. I have seen a lot of Jdramas and this one effortlessly scored 3/10.
