I’m not gonna lie, this made more sense. The scenes were more interesting and practical.
It basically portrayed the difference between the rich and the poor. All the reactions were more practical than the K version.
Oh yes, I would pick this as my second choice. However, I picked the K version over this, because I loved the conversations between the main leads. Also, maybe because I saw the K version first, it was my first ever K drama.
I totally enjoyed this so much. The Filipino‘s version was more like a joke compared to this and K version.
Nevertheless, I can’t wait to see more versions maybe the Chinese or Japanese version. I can’t never get over this storyline. And I am ready to binge any other versions.
For me, I would effortlessly rate this an 8.5 and would recommend it to anyone who cares to watch.
Okay guys, I’m here to rant and vent my frustration about this drama, but before I pour out my anger and rage, let me drop this here. If you want to get a good and constructive reviews on any drama, please ignore YouTube as much as possible. I just realized that the users there are only concerned about looks and romance. Once, they can get this in any drama, they will sing praises and make you fall for it. That being said, let me get the main point.
so I was surfing YouTube for a new set of dramas to watch and this popped up on my timeline. I watched a few clips and read a lot of comments on YouTube, the reviews were pretty good and that was how I decided to give a go.
For starters, I want to ask an honest and I want to be very polite about it. I don’t mean to offend anyone but at this point, I need to satisfy my curiosity. “Is it a norm for girls in China not to take NO for an answer” I ask this question because I have seen many Chinese movies and it’s more like a norm. Like, how can a girl get rejected many times from a guy and she won’t stop and give herself a little respect? I mean if this isn’t the norm, why are these scriptwriters pushing the narrative? Yes, I know it’s all fiction but c’mon! I find this super annoying! I feel as humans we should all learn to respect boundaries. If a guy says he’s not interested in any relationship, isn’t it best to let it go? And probably, give the guy a little space, but the way they portray these ladies is just annoying and crazy. I just can’t deal!!
Now back to the drama, I feel they wasted good leads. Gosh! the leads are definitely among my favs, I love them to pieces but this wasn’t it for me. I couldn’t feel their vibes and chemistry. First kiss was dry as crazy. No atom of emotion. Frankly, this ruined all the sweet memories I had in my head about those leads as I have been many of their dramas.
Again, I still don’t get how all the female characters here are relationship experts yet none of them have a suitable relationship. This annoys me more.
And why would this drama be about business, business and business yet the name is “Only for Love” I got so bored! I wouldn’t keep up with those conversations even when Bruce betrayed the ML and I was like “Who’s Bruce again?” because I wasn’t following at all. It killed the vibe for me. Plus a better title for this drama should have been “Assumptions” everyone is always assuming without communicating. They all lacked communication even over the simplest things.
Lastly, why would any director or screenwriter or whoever is in charge come up with 32 episodes? Seriously? 32 episodes of long business talks? Boring conversations with zero chemistry? That was cruel!!! I skipped most of the parts and only watched a few romance scenes. Well, I needed to make something out this. Currently on episode 21 but I couldn’t hold back my anger. I’m sorry if anyone finds this ofensive, it wasn’t intentional. I needed to vent where someone else would understand my feelings. I have invested so much trying to get to the end sadly, I will have to continue till the end. 🙃
Honestly, this was more like a breath of fresh air! Nowadays, it’s so rare to see this kind of Kdrama. it reminded me of the good old days.
I enjoyed every bit of this drama although I wished they showed more loved up scenes for the main leads, but it wasn’t bad! The little they shared was interesting. again, the first episode was kinda of boring for me, I had to force myself to watch. However, this drama took a different approach from episode 2.
overall, this a 9/10 for me. great masterpiece! everyone played their heart perfectly.
Gosh! this was horrible! The most boring and depressing movie ever! I couldn’t stand the 2nd couple. I only managed to watch for Smile and Badz! Who wrote and directed this horrible story? wasted 24hrs of my life!
How did this rating get to 7.5? are people really this nice? this should be 4.5 overall and that would be kudos to Smile and Badz.
I need to reset my brain and pretend that this never happened.

Thank you for your prompt response
You made my day! It’s very simple, main leads should be the end game. Anything else is a sad ending. Lol

Imagine coming here just to drop a comment. Isn’t this madness? Gosh! Lol
And till this moment, every scene is still living rent free in my head. I just can’t move on from this drama.
I need help! I seriously need to seek help on how to move on from this drama! It’s not fair!
I have never been attached to a drama in this manner. I hope I find a way to move on with my life.
Please, I’m begging you. You will fall in love with the drama and probably have a change of heart.
I haven’t seen this but I will get started this weekend.
Yes but it didn’t last long. It lasted one or two episode(s)
