i will never be able to encapsulate fully the love i have for this drama in words.i fell head over heels with all of the characters, storyline, and most of all the way jiaxu looks at sangzhi (i need someone to look at me as if they can't live without me). jiaxu loves her more than love. he is such a green flag, and their love story will always have a special place in my heart. also, viccctoooorr i wish you were my older brother i beg you please ahhhh. zhaolusi and victor will be top tier brotherXsister combo forever, and they literally act like that in real life as well <3
the ost is an absolute banger, its been on repeat for days and will be continue to be doing so till i die. also, half of them will be in my wedding playlist and im going to learn all the lyrics to it (not just by the sound). also, the fact that even though chenzheyuan usually never like to sing, but he sang forever star LIVE im crying. i will never get over how good this show is (i really don't know why i stopped watching when it was first released, i was just too young and oblivious to REAL LOVE LOL) i wish that i could erase my brain of all the edits and the show as a whole so i can relive the giggles, crying and laughing, ah please please i beg. my husband better watch this show before we get married because he needs to know how to love me the way jiaxu loves sangzhi, no scratch that he needs to know how to love me the way chenzheyuan and zhaolusi love each other PERIOD. half of the time, i related to victor so much because i felt really single watching this show, but what made me feel even more single was the fact that hes hasweiyifan.... :`) omg zeng li has the best hair in the whole show, and her skin is absolutely flawless like gurll you do not look like a mother of two grown adults and the fact that she and zhaolusi are so close and have that motherdaughter bond makes this show extra special.
i wish it was longer, or a season two would be absolutely amazing AHH i want to see them as parents and tell their love story to their kids (+baijingting and zhangruonan cameo maybe ?!??!?!? i would die if this happens, im already in heaven at that point)

AHHHHHHHHH I LOVE THE CAST AND THE OST, AMAZING AMAZINGwhen i found out ash and andres are tgt for real i scream they are soo cute!! and Ci-N is like their child (he's literally son core)!
everytime yuri came on (okay maybe because im japanese) something about him was just off broooo, and just very cringe. the only thing i like about him was the song that he sang to jayjay.
this drama is like a found family x love triangle trope.

thyme X gorya forever
god i cried what--ren, mj, kavin and thyme is such perfect casting and their friendship, sometimes questionable, but very strong. although i did feel like the last 2 episodes were tryna squish so much that i kinda was like *pause,* but nonetheless it was very good which a high praise because i really don't like any other adaptations of hyd/bof/mg other than the jp live action hyd.
the mom was amazing, although i hated her guts about most of time; however, the "open the gate, open the gate" was just absolutely heartwarming to see. i want a movie just for wedding scene lol

cutesy, but basic
i finished it in less than a day, but did i watch it on 1.5x speed the whole time, yes.nothing original about this show, but the main leads had such good chemistry and its cute. THE ONE THING i was so annoyed about was that the story legit ended before like the climax of their relationship. we barely got anything in the last 4 episodes and that was disappointing.
i bet someone during the editing of this show was like i am a geniusss because the story starts in the new year and ends on it as well LOL. stella is really pretty and the gaming storyline was definitely the backbone of this whole story because there was little to no romance.

down to earth & fluffy love story, green flag male lead!
finished this show in six days, and that should be enough to tell you how captivating this drama was for me!i love the leads and they have such great chemistry and compliment each others physical features really well which is a define must in calming love story. how the screenwriters weaved in the concept of chinese traditional medicine was just phenomenal, and was definitely one of the biggest factors that kept me wanting to go onto the next episode. there was a perfect blend between the storyline about their career, family dynamics and their romance. i do believe that this show is pretty well done in the cinematography aspect as well, since making flowers (or some cases the herbs/ingredients) a symbol really worked well in further enhancing the storyline!
i am glad there was only less than three toxic characters that are meant to create misunderstanding and a wedge between the main lead because tbh it would not be a correct depiction of what would happen in real life (although the whole concept about falling in love with a kind, handsome, a green flag, doctor who specializes in TCM is unrealistic, but not impossible LOL)!
also, seeing a woman in her late 20s going to get her masters, is quite uplifting for me since i have been contemplating about when i should take my masters. it has also taught me to do what i want to do, when i want and not let anyone else dictate what i should or should not be doing because i do not want to waste my precious years!
one thing that stood between me giving this show a 10 star rating was that i think that the overall storyline was quite stretched. this thought only comes from a personal preference of wanting the feeling of "wanting more of the couple content even after the show is done." However, do not let this aspect not make you want to watch this drama because it is very well made and heart-fluttering!

my fav chinese costume drama ever! made me obsessed with wang xingyue and wu jinyan, and i even started to watch the hi6 shows just to see more of the chemistry between the two because i just can't get enough!also i have so many random reels and youtube edits of xue li X xiao heng!
i am constantly listening the ost for this show to keep reliving it. DUKE SU and XUE LI SUPREMACY
life is full of surprises, but me watching and falling in love with a costume drama was definitely not on my mother's list of aoi's weird obsession list. she literally phoned me to remind me that real life --the sun and the cherry blossoms are literally blooming and do exist because i finished the whole series in two days LOL

most wholesome and best youth romance drama ever
su zaizai and zhang lurang ~~~~~i only have love for this show, healed something in me that i never knew was broken. no toxicity, no prolonged dumb miscommunication between any of the character and the FOUND FAMILY changed me.
rangrang loves her like there is no tomorrow, his eyes are only for her and will always be. HE IS STANDARD.
and can we talk about the proposalllll AHHHH
