If you do like this type of genre, Sweet Home is an okay experience. It's definitely not 10/10 but it's good to spend the time and probably a good binge-watching show and Song Kang didn't act "bad" he was okay, I just said that he didn't do anything special in terms of acting because other actors could deliver the same characterization that he did, but it was fine.
I just want to warn you that the 2nd season is very different to the 1st one, plus I thought the 2nd season was basically an introduction to the 3rd season where things will actually develop (I think) so I hope the new season is good, if not season 2 and 3 will be considered bad and season 1 ok (to me).
This is my personal opinion, you can have a different one so I do recommend you to watch it by yourself and take your own conclusions. 🤗

I don't really care, the majority of people who like this or Song Kang are either superficial people who only care about the actor's beauty and not his real talent or they are newbies who haven't watched much or have a lack of critical skills...
Everyone can have their on opinion about something and I do respect the people that liked this kdrama, I do believe it is a easy lovey-dovey romance and that's why it's famous for the people who do like simple stories with focus in romance it's everything for them BUT if it's someone who have eyes and critical skills they can love it and be aware that it has many flaws and the acting is not it... even Kim Yoo Jung who has been acting since kid isn't giving, she's been acting for a long time but she never took a challenging character, for me she still needs to grow as an actress too (everyone will disagree with me again, but it's not because she has done a lot of works that she automatically becames a top tier actress either as I said she needs to risk for a bigger role than just do simple characters like this)

That's so true, I still remember when the first 2 episodes came out... I saw A LOT of people saying it was amazing and it was alr their favorite drama 🤡 I was SPEECHLESS, this community is so superficial... to make a hyped kdrama they only need to bring beautiful main leads and everyone will like it, they don't need to spend anything in creating a good story.
The same way around, if they do a kdrama with a good plot but the cast isn't attractive people won't give the recognition it deserves, they don't care about the acting either... Song Kang is just a beautiful face otherwise he is a pretty mediocre actor (yes, I watched Sweet Home that everybody claims that he "acts" good but I still believe ANYONE could do the same or even better than him in Sweet Home, he did nothing amazing is terms of acting in Sweet Home it was actually just the plot and the direction that made it all, anyone could do it)

Ofc people will say that their favorite actor is gonna win it, but until it actually happens they're just spreading shitty information... I really doubt Song Kang is gonna win the most important award with a poor character and acting, but if he perhaps wins it... the award Daesang will tourn out as a joke to me and a lot of people, korean people will spread hating comments (with reasons), and Daesang will be just an award for the most popular actor and not the best perfomance of the year..
I really really doubt he will win it, I don't think koreans are stupid to do that.... Song Kang can win the Most popular actor cause that's truly the only award he deserves.
I'm sorry to anyone who didn't like my opinion but if u think Song Kang deserves a Daesang you are just baised and don't actually know the meaning of this award, it's not because he is your fav actor that he automatically deserves all the awards

For me the best part of Vigilante was the moralistic part, the rest was a pure basic vigilante story... I didn't watch this one yet but I don't except anything especial from it based on it's synopsis cause it's so much alike Vigilante in overall story, this is probably going to be just an enjoyable and easy binge watching show.

This community gives more attention to romances than other genres so it is difficult to know if I'm actually gonna enjoy the drama or if it's just a typical romance everyone likes. In every comment section here, almost everyone says that the drama is good so I can't take any conclusions from it and choose something to watch based on positive reviews only. So thank you so much for the help.

I'm not into political dramas so I'm going to pass on The Rise of Phoenix. Tbh I'm scared to watch Till The End Of The Moon because it seems very similar to Love Between Fairy and Devil but with a more serious concept (not sure if I'm right but I have this idea somehow). My friends didn't like The Long Ballad so I fear I won't like it either. But I'm definitely checking out the other one's, Nirvana in Fire is on top for a long time now. Thank you so much.

I'm definitely not into pure romance, that's one of the reasons I didn't like this one.. The Untamed is very famous, but I thought it was because it kinda has a bromance(?) so a lot of girlies like it cause of it. I'm not interested if that's the case, if not I'm going to give it a try. Thank u

I didn't like the fact that there's almost no plot besides the romance... for me Love Between Fairy and Devil was pure boredom, I just want something with a good plot and the romance being just a plus not the main focus 90% of the time.
I don't know if I like xianxia or not yet, I didn't watch enough cdramas to know it. But I do like fantasy when it's original, well made or different from the usual and I'm still open to watch cdramas focusing on romance if it's a really good love story, for me this was not the case... it was predictable and just a fluffy romance story with no depth

She did fine in Memories of the Alhambra too, people blame her for the old dramas while they didn't watch her recent ones. A lot of old dramas had bad kissing scenes, she was not the only one...

I'm joking, maybe there's some new ones that can act. But people nowadays are giving attention only for good looking actors rather than skillful actors, Song Kang and the idol Eun Woo are the most famous actors right now and they are not amazing at all, that's my opinion 🤷‍♀️

Exactly! I'm so done with kpop idols getting main roles in their first drama, that's just so unfair to people that have been studying and practicing to be an actor. And now we have this 😭
Nowadays u just need to be famous or good looking to be an actor, they don't need to know how to act properly. I feel like we don't have good actors like in the past.
