I'm close to dropping KP but not because of the toxicity. That was expected given it is a mafia drama (you can't watch something like that with your moral compass on because you'll go crazy) I'm almost dropping it because the character development is so weak and the story just isn't gritty/dark enough at all. Sighs, Apo is one of my absolute fav actors before KP, so I am kind of disappointed that he isn't being utilized better. He is awesome though.

I think it's easy to judge her, but if we truly look at things from all perspectives, what is she to do? If she quits school to find work, would she be able to find something that pays the substantial amount the hospital/Dr. Sak is charging? Would she end up having to sell her body in order to make quick/easy money? She tried to borrow money and we already saw that she was almost beat up for not having it back on time. We tend to forget that she is about 18-20 years old and likely doesn't have anyone to rely on except her mother who is sick, so I can't fault her for trying to get money from Tol. I know that when I read the book a long time ago (with the horrible Eng translation) it seemed like Tol was aware of what she was doing and was actually helping her out, but I am not sure if that was translated properly.
Heart tried to help her as well, but what he can get isn't enough. Tol is rich. Granted he doesn't have to help anyone, but he was happy to do it. Now, was it because he really liked her? Was it because he too is using her? It appears that she is really popular in school and he could very well be using her to keep people away. Maybe we might see this in a loop?

I have been keeping it to myself for a while now. Only told two people here who have similar likes, but I am def not sharing this gem for now. This drama has such a sweet spot in my heart! I wanted Tae and Tee to get their time to shine and I am so happy to see them both getting it. It has been nearly four years of Tae/Tee fans wanting them in their own series so this is precious to some of us. (edited to take out the premonition of last episode LOL, J/K)

Well in this drama the ex-girlfriend trope works. Tin is an adult who has been working as a doctor in residency for years. It is not farfetched for him to at least have some past lovers. We know he hasn't dated men at all given his conversation with his colleague when he was trying to pursue Tol. And we only know she is his ex because he told us. For all, we know she could just be a friend, and Tin is being cheeky trying to get Tol to feel jealous. She isn't scheming, she isn't even getting in the way of anything. She came to him as a colleague asking for his assistance which is pretty normal in their work setting. I don't even think the drama would be touching anything with her in the coming episodes because she isn't central to the story.
As for Mai, her purpose is to show the lengths someone would go to save their parent. Yes, she is using Tol, but can you really fault her for trying anything to get her mother the best medical care? She is central to the story because through her mother we are also learning about organ harvesting. Her mother isn't getting better because Dr. Sak doesn't want her to get better. He needs her to get worse to have an excuse to harvest her organs. Rit's issue if brought to light isn't going to make a real dent in Sak's career. He could easily twist that story around, but with more than one patient, it would be hard for him to cover up what he is doing.
The only female "villain" in this whole drama has been the Lapi girl (can't bother to remember her name) and she isn't even a villain either. She is just a scheming lazy student which is everywhere, and she isn't even fully responsible for the whole thing. Her partner Win is also equally bad.
