I feel like I need to put this here because I have not seen anyone say this!...
Guys/Gals please stop asking for the translation of the book or where can you read it. The writer of this book has allowed it to be OFFICIALLY translated into English (and maybe other languages) and has asked that any unofficial translations be discarded. Please be kind and do not share any of the links to unofficial story translations. From what I have read and Pinkmilk forums, they hope to release the official translated book PRETTY SOON (before Season 2)...
Very disappointed with the series, the only redeeming quality was that some of the actors improved a lot. Perhaps the ending was left sort of open ended for another season, but the writer and director of this dropped the ball on some of the stories. I'm still confused as to why they introduced the idea of Wit liking Yok's mom and then somehow he and his best friend both are texting cristina/kristina who happens to be Yok's best friend but we never tie that up. Then we never understood if Nine and Rodtang really liked each other mutually or if this was a one sided thing from Nine with no hope whatsoever. I do like Book and Frame, but I also felt their story was just frustrating and to keep adding third wheel drama even in the end was so silly. Fuse and Tee were also frustrating but at least some of it was cleared up, still so much they can explore. If they do make a season 3, I hope that the writing is a bit more linear and less all over the place. Trying to please everyone leads to muddle mess. I feel that the problem with this season was probably the editing because a lot of the story felt like it went no where or cut. Oh well, I still wish these actors lots of fame and fortune and hope to see them in other projects.
♥ YAY! So excited to see some of Book's problems resolved. He opened his heart to let the one person…
Most of those actors are were not even 18 when the series started. The one that plays Tee was only like 15/16 and Fuse was 16/17 and the one that plays Frame is like 17/18 now while the one that played Book was already 19/20. That is one of the biggest issues I had with this series because of the subject material like rape/alcohol (though in real life many young men/women are engaging in this behavior anyways) but it felt weird specially when the couples were several years apart (Frame/Book).
So the Tern/Book drama is resolved with a "sorry" and that's it? Like this dude put the video out there for everyone to see which drove someone (Book) to attempt suicide (though unsuccessfully)...man what a horrible message like this dude didn't even get his just deserts and from the preview it might seem he even gets a happy ending. I can't with these directors/writers.
I think my favourite character in this season is Lilly. She's so extra!! I love here.
Ditto she's by far the best character in this series and that's saying a lot. Love her LiiiiLy emphasis. That girl could act and hope she gets more work.
I've been giving this series a chance because I commit myself to finishing what I start. And I'm still…
I've been reading BL/Yaoi for over a decade now, and believe me I know these series have little to do with LGBTQ, however, it doesn't mean that these topics they are trying to portray don't affect this community and the way they seem to treat these topics as a joke (like the Tee/Fuse rape and even Book and Frame) just continues to shed a negative light on the plight of my people who identify as gay/lesbian. I was just hoping that the series would have taken these topics and done them some justice and not so much pandering. Ah but I guess they have to also make these series popular and pandering seems to be the way they do it. Shrugs, I just hoped for more. I guess I was spoiled by GayOkBangkok which really dealt with topics in a realistic manner while still keeping it funny.
Another BL series that I committed to watching till the end only to be left with a bad taste in my mouth. So many relationships that were screwed and somehow magically fixed in ten minutes at the end. Waii's character was so flawed from the beginning and had little redeeming qualities, yet we were supposed to root for him to end with Apo who was the most adorable, sensible and caring person in the entire series? Not to mention how Waii treated his gf, who also needed to face reality about their failing relationship. Ugg, then to focus so much on side couples (some of which had NO CHEMISTRY) was disappointing. IF this gets a second season I hope they focus on the two couples that made this show interesting and we all know who those are!
I've been giving this series a chance because I commit myself to finishing what I start. And I'm still disappointed in the direction the writers and directors went with this series. It truly boggles me how they took what could have been a good series about young men and love and turned it into some sort of comedic sideshow with obvious pandering to BL fans. It's already hard enough to portray LGBTQ stories and characters on TV and the fact that Thailand is at the forefront of allowing the stories of this community shine through, should spur directors and writers to do more and be more true to the source, starting with casting actors that are part of the LGBTQ community. I'll continue to watch till the end, but this will be one series I will not be repeating.
if they make Fah and Pan end up together i swear.... i'll be mad af. let her be gay ffs.
Human beings are fluid though, so her falling for him wouldn't be farfetched. However, you are right that for once if they are going to introduce a lesbian character at least do her justice
