OMG I sat for 12 hours straight and watched this series! Anyone knows where I can read the novel translated to…
There is plan for an official translation of the novel that would be coming out next year or so. But there are some people who have translated some of it. Just wait for the official translation.
Humans are selfish, that's the real world. Anyone who thinks they aren't selfish live in a bubble. That's why…
Also please don't take my comment as an attack on yours. I merely wanted to share my thoughts on the matter. I'm very controversial in my thinking because I don't see people as bad or good. I see people in all types of grey. We have many flaws and this character is portraying so many of them really well, that I can't help but empathize with him. I actually feel sorry for HQ and don't necessarily see him as a bad person or see what he does as bad. Because, he seems just as confused about his feelings and actions and I don't think he WANTS to hurt anyone. His biggest fault is trying to please everyone else like his father, PJ and now YF.

No one is saying you hate him and no one is saying that what he is doing is right either (but that is subjective because it all boils down to a person's moral compass). My point was that he is selfish because he is human and even if we can't agree with his way of doing things, we have to see it from his point of view too. I was merely speaking from other people who flat out say he is horrible or he is this and that, but don't see things from his side as well. Sure he strung along two guys, but he tried to break it off when he was found out, but PJ didn't want to. Nothing to worry about your opinion is just as valid as mine or others.

True, but people can be in love with more than one person, which seems to be the case for HQ. He grew to love PJ even-though his heart was YF from the beginning. He didn't ask PJ to love him or give him all he has, but slowly HQ fell for him. He also feels indebted to PJ for getting him out of his depression and being there for him when his father left him. So I can totally understand why he has a hard time letting someone like PJ go. Love is messy and love is actually hurtful. PJ also has a hand in his own misery because he knew HQ wanted to end their relationship but he ignored him asked him to stay together and HQ has a hard time saying no people. At least it is what I gathered from this series. He gave up his dream of school for a time when his father asked him to care for his grandfather (he did it even if he seemed like a brat to many), he then gave up looking for YF when PJ asked him to love him. And now he was contemplating leaving China for the US when his father asked him to leave. I think that HQ gets a lot of hate/flack because he represents a lot of what people are in real life. People don't want to confront the reality that when it comes to love we do crazy illogical things. People hate him because he is a reflection of who people truly are. Deep down we are all selfish, just some can reign in their selfishness while others DGAF about anyone else but themselves. Also sorry for long speech here LOL...
Humans are selfish, that's the real world. Anyone who thinks they aren't selfish live in a bubble. That's why I like this story because they aren't going the "innocent/sweet/naive" way. They are giving us characters with flaws and I think that is what makes it so real and frustrating. I know people want to hate on Hai Qing, but this actor is really doing a great job getting people to dislike his character.
Korn and Huang Li Ge together again!! I can't wait for this. The BTS videos look good and I'm so happy to see Peng Chen back. He's such a freaking fanboy for BL stories. I have also loved the idea of a story of hermaphrodites since we barely hear anything about these individuals and the stories I have heard were never kind/good to hear. I really can't wait!! I wish Peng Chen would have done the second season for Love is more than a word, but I'll take this too!!!
In the trailer Kongpob did say to arthit before the kiss that he will not let him get away this time... so I think…
Oh I know. I'm just inpatient LOL...after waiting nearly 12 episodes in the first season to get them together, I was hoping to see a more advance coupling from them LOL.
I'm having such a hard time liking this series (OMG kill me now, cause i Love love SOTUS) but I feel like Arthit and KP are still not comfortable with their relationship (kind of like they are still freaking starting to date instead of a committed couple who has been together for nearly 3 years) I don't get why the writer and directors are going with this...It feels so forced at times. But I REALLY love these actors and wish it didn't come off as "nervous" half the time. At least from Arthit's part. He always shies away from KP advances you would think that after 2 1/2 years together he would be used to it by now. Also, I understand that we can't have Arthit and KP in all episodes, but i'm not feeling the new couples they are introducing. Part of it is that I was miffed that the WAD/PREM story could have been better developed this season but they chose to introduce new pairings. Oh well. I'll continue to watch though.
Love is both kind and cruel, love is most of the time messy. Human beings are messy, so anyone expecting a fairy tale type of romance, you'll sadly crash and burn. I live for this though LOL.
Episode 6 was good. What I really liked is how Hai Quin was unapologetic about letting that woman know that he had a boyfriend and then Ping Jun telling him that he should have been gentle. I really dislike how in dramas and sometimes in real life, the person doing the rejection usually is seen as a bad person when they are blunt or don't really think about how the other person feels. For me, it's kind of ridiculous to put such a burden on someone who is rejecting another person. I liked that Hai Quing was honest and didn't go around in circles, being gentle only prolongs the hurt the other person may feel and it is not the responsibility of Hua Quin to take her feelings after rejection into consideration. I also like how Johnny knows that sex and acting pitifully gets him want his wants from Yan Fei. Man the story is actually a lot better than I thought and I like how the director didn't shy away from real life and how relationships are so complex. I am all for the cute sweet love story but I live for complexity and tackling issues such as jealousy, complacency, manipulation, lying etc. Because no matter how much society's moral compass tells us that we must be monogamous and must not cheat, the reality is totally different. Human beings are not monogamous by nature and there are more layers to relationships.
The more I watch the more I am certain that this series is about more than just cheating like some people have said. It's about depression-the main lead having to deal with an aging grandfather who also has alzheimer's, dealing with his father who wants him to quit chasing his dream of getting an art degree and literally drop everything to care for his grandfather (mind you I agree that every member of a family should put their part in helping an aging parent) however, it's also unfair to require so much of someone so young who wants to achieve something in their life. This series is also about people who are in relationships (the CEO and his Boyfriend) and stay together just to prove something (what that is has yet to be determined), but clearly both are unhappy because they are not getting what they truly want out of it. One seeks real intimacy and attention (despite kissing a stranger as a sigh of gratitude and flattery), the other seeks companionship and someone who is more active in their relationship (thus he continues to hang out with Jacky even if that is innocent at this point) Cheating by kissing a stranger is bad, however, emotional cheating is worse, so yeah the CEO was wrong in kissing Haquin, but it's not like his boyfriend is any better with being more connected with Jacky. Not saying that it's wrong, but if we are going to vilified one party, we have to look at both. The title of this series fits very well with the characters. I also think that the CEO (sorry I keep forgetting his name, or do they not say his name at all? Cause Baby and Boss are the only names I keep hearing LOL) needs to come clean to his mother and aunt or at least reassure his partner that he is committed to them (whoever the partner ends up being). It's not fair for him to keep the fact that he is gay and in relationship from his mother who continues to set him up on blind dates. I'm liking the series, definitely needs better pacing (everything seems to be going too fast, poor grandpa he was so cute!!) but I like that they aren't doing too dramatic stuff and making it more realistic. Relationships aren't easy, be it familiar or intimate ones, so I want to see how this plays out and who ends up with whom.
Well that first episode was interesting. Though I have to wait for the subs to really get it, I kind of got the gist of it. Definitely a quadruple (not a triangle) relationships. Without the translation, I was a bit annoyed at the main guy (I'm assuming the bottom for now) for kind of treating his granpa like shit, but I bet that he just has a hard time expressing himself thus why painting is so important to him. Also, is the CEO married? HE had a wedding ring and his partner called him Baby.. but it seems like his partner is cheating on him with that guy named Jacky from his company.....Ummm very interesting indeed
I watch d the trailers four times just to see if something new pops up and I'm so excited because it seems that Konpop will start working in the same company as Arthit? I sure looked that way when Arthit brushed his forehead and said he had a fever...I can smell the drama of people hitting on Arthit and even Konpop and the two hiding their relationship status...OH I can't wait.
