Babo friends

With so much stuff packed into this movie, it surely has some ups and downs, but the bottom line is that this is a feel-good movie that leaves you with a nice message about friendship. The story follows four friends who have known each other since childhood and call themselves morons (babo). While they plan a trip together, they encounter many unexpected and funny obstacles along the way. They are not offended by being called morons—in fact, that is their signature connection—and I liked how the movie highlights that you don’t have to be perfect to have a perfect friendship.

The theme of friendship is presented really well. The comedy? Well… it works most of the time. It felt overly crazy at moments, but there were a lot of small details that I really liked, and I had a lot of fun watching the movie. The movie also tries to elicit emotions from the viewers with drama, and in my opinion, the additional female friend stole the show—both in the comedy and in the drama. The movie presents her as not important, but to me, without her this wouldn’t be half as good. Her storyline fits perfectly. She really sneaked her way into the babo friendship with the guys.

P.S. I don’t know if this movie will encourage friends to go on a trip or discourage them.
