As a Cdrama fan, I can't really agree to that. Every drama page has toxic fans. I even took a week break from watching Lost You Forever because of the emotional stress from the drama and the drama outside the drama. Immortal Samsara was also like that, rating went from 9.2 to 8.2 at once,I was shocked. Both Xu Kai and Yang Zi really have an unusual high number of haters especially on MdL. I remember she had more than 50 people vote her as one of the overated actresses and she was 3rd on the list overall. I've seen other fandoms like Esther Yu,Zhao Lusi,Wang Yibo,etc complaining about the same thing. Every fandom all have haters

I stopped caring about MdL rating since love endures. It's annoying people have turned it into a topic and even a competition on which actress or actor has more haters. Finale rating is all that matters. If the plot is good, there'll be more audience though I don't have high expectations for that since this is not a popular genre
