I think the reason people like jia liang is because he's a good person but let's not ignore his lack of independence, irresponsibility, and lack of respect for Cheng Huan career. 4 episodes in and I've lost count of the number of times he has apologized to Mai Cheng Huan for various reasons.

In episode 4, there's a scene where she told her daughter that she's still a baby😂 well,that's exactly what she treats her as

Episode 4 was thrilling 😂 That scene where Yao Zhiming got drunk was absolutely hilarious, especially with his assistant adding fuel to the fire.
Then there's the cringe worthy proposal scene😭I couldn't help but cringe at how embarrassing jia Liang was and it's quite obvious he doesn't value her or her work at all.

Once again,the egg headed colleague of Mai Cheng Huan is really becoming a pain. Her actions seem so out of place and clichéd, like she's just there to create drama for the sake of it. It's frustrating because her behavior doesn't seem to have any logical explanation.

Jia Liang is like a carbon copy of that useless second male lead from "Marry My Husband." Both of them let their moms walk all over them. Jia Liang is like a grown man in pampers, he's so irresponsible, just lounging around at home while Mai Cheng Huan and his mom act as his nannies

On a brighter note, I'm glad the grandma has been introduced since she'll have a hand in bringing the leads together 😗

Correct me if I'm wrong, Yang Hua is the first role where he used his real voice right? It goes to show that he's more confident now. Also,the cold Yao zhiming is different from Yang hua

As for mama Mai,she's not just controlling; she's downright selfish by trying to force Mai Cheng Huan's life to fit her own image, without any regard for her feelings. It's not that Mai Cheng Huan is naive, it's more about the lack of boundaries and the only way for Mai Cheng Huan to break free is by moving out. Every scene of her mother is suffocating to watch which makes me wonder why the father married a nut job😫
