I'm really impressed with the casting choices for this drama, everyone is doing an amazing job. When I first heard about this project with rumors about Yang Zi being involved, I wasn't too keen on the family theme. I know it's not a theme that international fans typically go for, so I didn't have high expectations. But now, seeing how Yang Zi has approached the role of Mai Cheng Huan, I'm blown away. Yang Zi herself has said that she chooses roles based on what interests her, not on what people might think(like the people here calling this drama too common 🌝). And Mai Cheng Huan is definitely something she's never tried before. I've been watching her interviews and reading about the novel, and it's really helped me understand the essence of this drama. Even though I didn't grow up in Mai Cheng Huan kind of family, I find the story really intriguing. It keeps me guessing about how things will unfold. So, despite my initial perception on this drama, I'm surprised by how much I'm enjoying it
