I totally commented on that a few episodes ago! It's Checkov's sneeze - there is no way they introduced that funny detail without intending to spring it on us later. The question is will it be hilarious or heartbreaking, do you think?

It makes me wonder about that whole family. Ming fell in love at first sight with a beautiful man playing a character, then proceeded to be so desperately unable to make a healthy human connection that he destroyed a man's life. May seems a bit more able to ask for and give love, but she chose someone so poisonous. Perhaps neither of them ever thought a real love was possible since people would always see their money and connections. So they took the closest approximation they could find.

Why does 2 minutes of TharnType cameo make this make sense? It's like your weird situationship introducing you to a circle of friends who will also be dysfunctional.

I think he's just been very lonely for a long time and wants affection but has no idea what that would look like.

If nothing else it looks like they the costume department go wild, and I love that

Kieta Hatsukoi (My Love Mixup) is adorable and set in high school.

My heart is in Up's hands here. Ming is so awful but I genuinely think Up is capable of slowly revealing what Ming became after he destroyed Joe's life with his selfishness.

Of course Joe's under no obligation to forgive.

The Japanese version is better, imo, and worth watching.

This was so clever, but not BL really. So be prepared. I left a proper note in the reviews, but thought it'd help for people thinking of watching this to know this is about Gene, not Gene's love life.

The amount of jam Sib puts on toast is stressing me up. That is too much jam

I quite liked second male lead too. They had the same values and so much respect for each other.

So I've just finished (RIP my weekend) and I loved it. I think there were pacing issues, but if you enjoy a slow burn, this is delightful.

It also featured my other weakness in dramas: a serious friend group. I'm obsessed with Phu's granny and her tight knit little pack of ride-or-die friends.

100% I am going to watch this now that I've seen this comment.
