About 2). One thing I don't get is that isn't it whose focused based on the cast order? C-drama fans fight a lot…
I don’t know much about billing so I cant really comment on that but what i do know is that the novel which this is based on is female lead focused.
And I personally that while a male lead focus could be nice it doesn’t really work for the early stages of the drama as it’s about Yuru changing Jiusi for the better.
1) I've seen a number of comments saying this drama is boring or slow, I can assure you it's not. There's high tension and stakes but not in the way of needing constant fight scenes. If you want multiple fight scenes watch a wuxia. Plus there has been a couple of fight scenes as of episode 22 and there will be some more as the war is incoming.
2) I've also seen people complain about the amount of dialogue, but it honestly makes sense why there is so much. Destined is female lead focused rather than male lead, Yuru is more smart, spoken and calm. The constant dialogue is a show of what type of person she is. While Jiusi is quite impulsive (evidence episodes 21/22) he's more do than sit and talk, if the drama was more male lead focused the dialogue would be less
3) It's rather nice seeing a c-drama where the male lead and female lead actually communicate and understand each other's intentions -Hopefully this should remain even after Yuru realises that she knows Zishang -And there is no silly 2nd female lead (as long as that Princess which Jiusi was supposed to marry doesn't make an appearance)
4) Despite being married for nearly a year, we must remember Yuru and Jiusi didn't originally intend on marry one another, much less fall in love with each other, that's why I think it's taking them so long to be intimate because they are still very new to love. Although it is clear that they love each other and they indirectly confirmed it to each other not too long after they arrived in Youzhou. Most likely we will get a kiss soon judging by the outfits in the trailer but intimacy in last 10 episodes
