We are down to our last 8/7 episodes, and as long as NYZ and RY survive till the end and there is no amnesia line i will be very happy (or as happy as i can be after certain people die)

I know RY isn’t actually dead but the music and the way the scene was played out would almost make you think she actually is dead

LTG is technically of royal blood himself and from the snippet there is nobody on the throne and LTG is standing directly infront of it.

So if that is SS and CY child but LTG claims it as his own that could be the reason why it’s there

But if that is a third prince maybe LTG will be acting as regent until it is older

There’s a snippet where you can see LTG with a baby and my suspicions about it being YSS only get stronger.

My reasons:

Near the beginning of Ep 26, SL jokes to SS that he looks like he is going to pray to have a child, which SS response to by saying that’s troublesome and that he’s handsome so of course he can have a bunch of children if he wants.

Snippets of SS and Chu Yue show them having a one night stand, CY is seen trying to confront him but like Meiniang, SS leaves her (and he says whatever happened yesterday never happened)

More snippets show a war and CY is fighting in it, if i remember correctly there is a bit shown where CY is hurt and SS is with her. Let’s imagine that CY has gone to fight unknowingly pregnant. But how does LTG end up with the baby?

It’s because it is safe to assume SS won’t survive the war as we have seen in a trailer that he goes blind and has mentioned dying (specifically if he met a woman he could fall in love with) . So LTG can just pretend that it is his child after all it would be the child of his wife/fiancée

And LTG being the son of a paramour, he could empathise with the baby and decide to raise it as his own. This could end up being his redemption arc after all his obsession over Ruyi.
Plus he told CY that he doesn’t care if she has an affair.

And it's official LTG has completely lost it, he's making himself harder and harder to redeem. He's probably only going to change near the end.
