The writers don't like to keep viewers happy. I wish SJ did not show up, but Jandi not telling her family is not right. She should have told why she dropped the phone and the reasons behind it. When SJ said - actually she was her mother, knowing JD anger mgmt problems, I envisioned a slap on her cheek.
Maybe this is where KS finally grows a backbone, quits apologizing, and his own assertiveness shows up big time…

KS needs to grow a backbone if he wants to hold on to JD. SJ is a flake - someone who did not give a damn about a child who should have been cared for and KS who gave his life to marry SJ. She is an user. She probably needs something for her family or herself and that might be why she came out of the woodwork.
When they changed from the hospital scene to the eating together scene - I thought KS is day dreaming in the hospital bed... Was waiting for his bubble to burst.
