After sleeping on it, I find that CH's reaction was not as ridiculous as I initially thought. Right from the start, QY had been constantly lying to her and was even making use of her. This created a lot of distrust in CH, which can be seen by how she asks QY how many times he lied to her. QY refuses to answer by pretending to be injured (which I am sure CH realises after it is revealed that he had recovered from his injures 3 days ago). Although it is obvious that Gu Wan has malicious intentions towards QY, to Chun Hua, it could have just been confirming her own suspicions and insecurities. As viewers, we have the benefit of seeing things from QY's perspective so we may think that it is obvious he really loves her. All that said, CH is clearly not the brightest since QY has done so much for her and she just believes someone who tried to kill her previously so easily.

Episode 27: Chun Hua drinks with Qiu Yue and ends up drunk so she tries to kiss Qiu Yue. However, Qiu Yue is upset that she is so demoralised and tries to wake her up from her drunken stupor. Xiao Bai is depressed and reveals that he thinks that Feng Cai Cai will make a good wife for the pugilistic leader (i.e. him). News arrive that Qiu Yue's subordinate Gu Wan is injured and Qiu Yue refuses to save him. Chun Hua begins to think that Qiu Yue will not save him if she is injured, not realising that she is the most important person to him.

Episode 28: Chun Hua convinces Qiu Yue to save Gu Wan out of sympathy. Qiu Yue expends a large portion of his internal energy to save Gu Wan. Gu Wan ends up rebelling with his subordinates and Qiu Yue kills most of them with Ye Yan's help. Gu Wan manages to escape. Qiu Yue ends up collapsing from his injuries and they retreat to the 'ice valley' to recuperate. Qiu Yue thought that Chun Hua would leave him behind but it turns out that she only wanted to get food for him. Meanwhile, Xiao Bai and co. are trying to investigate the needles that were used to control the human puppets. They mentioned the needles and noticed someone suspicious trying to overhear their conversation; he turned out to be one of the former disciples of the 'Healing Sage' Li Yu.

Episode 29: Chun Hua takes care of Qiu Yue in the 'Ice Valley' while Ye Yan watches the entrance to ensure their safety. Qiu Yue claims that he is cold and Chun Hua had to wrap the both of them in the blanket to keep him 'warm'. Meanwhile, Xiao Bai ruthlessly kills some assassins (sent by the Leng guy) that were trying to kill Feng Cai Cai and lets out a smirk. Qiu Yue tells Chun Hua about how his mother trapped him in the ice valley when he was young and forced him to practise martial arts every day and forced him to swear that he will take revenge on Xiao Bai's father. Ye Yan meets with Gu Wan and disables all his martial arts but tells Chun Hua that Gu Wan is already dead. Xiao Bai deduces that the guy the Healing Sage was pointing at (in the first episode) was actually Feng Cai Cai's dad.

Episode 30: Chun Hua jokingly holds Qiu Yue's hair accessory at his throat and says that she can kill him now if she wants to. Qiu Yue pulls the sharp hair accessory towards his throat and Chun Hua hastily stops him. Qiu Yue says that Chun Hua must like him if she doesn't want him dead. Chun Hua is speechless and Qiu Yue kisses her. After some time, they discuss the first time that they met and Chun Hua realises that he is the first man that she set her eyes upon (i.e. he is the guy he is destined to be with). Chun Hua starts crying. Meanwhile, Feng Cai Cai thinks that Xiao Bai has been acting weirdly recently and shares her worries with Qin Liu Feng. There are many sweet moments between Qiu Yue and Chun Hua after this. However, she is worried that they will not have a happy ending together.

Episode 31: Chun Hua and Qiu Yue play truth and dare. Chun Hua keeps getting dared by Qiu Yue to kiss him. Chun Hua later cheats to win one round and she asks Qiu Yue how many times he has lied to her. If it is more than 3 times, she will immediately leave. Qiu Yue pretends to pass out due to his old injury. Meanwhile, Xiao Bai and co. discover one of Mr Shi's subordinates. Chun Hua discovers that Qiu Yue had actually recovered from his injuries three days ago and lied to her to spend more time with her. Chun Hua wants Qiu Yue to stop killing people, but Qiu Yue thinks that he has to be evil so that other people will not hurt the both of them.

Episode 32: Chun Hua and Qiu Yue leave the ice valley and lazes around in a field. Chun Hua takes the initiative to kiss Qiu Yue. Meanwhile, Leng Ning starts to dress up as a female. Xiao Bai discovers a lead that leads to the Eight Immortals Manor (i.e. the Healing Sage's brother) and starts investigating. He hear news that Qiu Yue is severely injured due to an internal revolt, which led to him becoming missing and thinks that something bad happened to Chun Hua as well. This causes Xiao Bai to be so aggravated that he vomits blood and passing out. Chun Hua and Qiu Yue go out shopping and they see a jade piece that they want to by. Chun Hua goes back to get money while Qiu Yue waits in the shop. On the way, Chun Hua bumps into Gu Wan who tells her that she is just a pawn to Qiu Yue, making her devastated. She then bumps into Qin Liu Feng and Qiu Yue sees them talking together. Qiu Yue gets jealous and the two of them start quarrelling because of what Gu Wan said.

Episodes 21-26 were pretty disappointing besides the part where Chun Hua denounces Xiao Bai. There were barely any cute or sweet scenes between CH and QY. I haven't watched episodes 27-32 yet but to be honest, I was quite disappointed after seeing episodes 32, 37 and 38 previews that I don't even feel like watching until the last episode comes out >.<
EDIT: 27-32 are totally worth watching (especially 30-31) and after watching ep 37 preview again, it seems like Chun Hua didn't lure them to the forest on purpose

Omg the previews were so wtf. Apparently Chun Hua lured Qiu Yue to a forest so that Xiao Bai and the Leng guy can kill him. In ep 38, Chun Hua was saying that Qiu Yue hates her and will never talk to her again. I think Xiao Bai promises that he will take good care of her or something (wtf?). There is this scene where Qiu Yue seems to walk past her without acknowledging her at all.

Yeah the main plot is mainly there but the events may not happen in the same order.

I haven't read the novel but skimmed through briefly to find out the ending. From what I gather, the novel is actually quite different from the show and the events are somewhat jumbled up.

I skimmed through the book like you too and totally agree with you! From what I gathered from my skimming, it seems like Qiu Yue was the one that poisoned Chun Hua in the book?!?! That is really too evil for my liking.

I think the upcoming episodes that come out tomorrow (episodes 27 - 32) should have quite a few sweet scenes between them but it seems like they will have a misunderstanding in episode 32 (at least judging from the preview). The bloody lotus should be a sign of Chun Hua getting poisoned and Qiu Yue will end up expending all his internal energy to save her.

The novel has a good ending. You can practically see the ending in the last few moments of the ending song. Qiu Yue expends all his internal energy saving Chun Hua and his hair turns white, but they end up together.

Omg yes I especially got that impression from the latest episodes. Especially if you look at the preview of episode 32, you will see that Xiao Bai becomes demonic (his eyes turn red) just like how Luo Ming Xuan became that evil phoenix thing. I think Xiao Bai is like a more immature version of Luo Ming Xuan so he still kind of have a conscience.

Episode 23: There is this heartbreaking scene where Chun Hua returns the Ice Silkworm Pearl Bracelet to Qiu Yue and asks him to let her go. Qiu Yue finally agrees to let her go although he is clearly anguished. Chun Hua returns to Feng Ming Villa and the first thing he asks her is whether she really had an affair with Qiu Yue >.< Chun Hua is obviously angry and asked him whether he tried to kill her. Xiao Bai defends himself and Chua Hua believes him. Chun Hua is left in an awkward position at Feng Ming Villa as everyone suspects her to be a potential spy from Qian Yue Cave. Ye Yan releases the news through Mr Shi that the Longevity Fruit will be given to whoever writes the most sincere confession of his crimes. However, Chun Hua knows that the Longevity Fruit is fake and that Fu Lou will definitely write this confession to try to get the Longevity Fruit for You Si. She is at her wits' end as to how to convey the news to Chuan Qi Valley and looks at her wrist (which used to hold the Ice Silkworm Bracelet) but remembers that she already returned it to Qiu Yue. She is feeling disappointed when Qiu Yue suddenly appears and makes her wear the bracelet again. He points out that she always thinks of him when she needs help and tells her that she will never see him again if she returns the bracelet to him again. Chun Hua is left speechless. She asks Qiu Yue to bring her to Chuan Qi Valley. They discuss the fact that Fu Lou's weakness is You Si and Chun Hua points out that Qiu Yue has no weaknesses. Qiu Yue tells her that his weakness is her.

Episode 24: Chun Hua stays at Chuan Qi Valley to accompany You Si. They discuss the concept of love and You Si guesses that Chun Hua has unknowingly fallen in love with Qiu Yue. Meanwhile someone conveys the news to Xiao Bai that Chun Hua has been kidnapped by Chuan Qi Valley. However Leng Ning's dad sends someone to kidnap You Si in return. Chun Hua asks Fu Lou to hold her hostage to exchange for You Si. The exchange happens without incident. Xiao Bai reminds Fu Lou that the next day the Longevity Fruit will be given to whoever writes the most sincere confession. Fu Lou decides to go the next day despite Chun Hua previously telling him that the Longevity Fruit is fake.

Episode 25: Chun Hua is out for a stroll at night before the major Longevity Fruit event the next day. She meets Xiao Bai and tries to get him to promise to ensure Fu Lou's safety the next day. However Xiao Bai refuses to promise her that and says that it will be worth if they exchange the lives of Fu Lou and Si Si for the peace of the world. Chun Hua is angry and ask him what he will choose if it was between her life and the peace of the world. Xiao Bai claims that he will never let such a situation occur. Chun Hua is disheartened by his reply. The next day, Fu Lou arrives with his confessions of crimes and manages to obtain the Longevity Fruit. He passes the fruit to You Si and says his final goodbye to her as he had agreed to die that night to atone for his crimes. He asks Chun Hua to take care of You Si. He ends up fighting with the people from the 'good side' who tries to kill him earlier. Meanwhile Qiu Yue arrives to view this 'show'.

Episode 26: Fu Lou eventually dies after being outnumbered. You Si is understandably heart broken and kills herself as well. Chun Hua is devastated at their deaths and demands that Xiao Bai apologise. Xiao Bai refuses and Chun Hua gives up entirely on Xiao Bai. She claims that she has been having an affair and asks Xiao Bai to kill her as she is a 'demonic' girl that is in cahoots with Qian Yue Cave. Xiao Bai refuses and Qiu Yue steps in, asking Chun Hua whether she understands now how hypocritical the 'good side' is. Chun Hua asks Qiu Yue to bring her back to Qian Yue Cave, turning her back entirely on Xiao Bai. The two leave, leaving a desolate Xiao Bai.

Episode 18: There are a lot of sweet scenes between Qiu Yue and Chun Hua where he hugs her again to comfort her and Chun Hua keeps trying to coax the antidote out from Qiu Yue. They even go to this really nice flower garden to spend the afternoon where Chun Hua realises that Qiu Yue has always been saving her and has always been good to her. However, she still tries to drug Qiu Yue. Qiu Yue obviously sees through this and asked her to feed him wine. Chun Hua puts the cup to Qiu Yue's lips. Qiu Yue drinks the wine before kissing Chun Hua to 'feed' her the wine (which is laced with the drug btw).

Episode 19: Read the detailed synopsis below but basically there is another kiss at the start, then Qiu Yue gives Chun Hua the antidote and lets her return. Feng Cai Cai is saved. The Xiao Bai creates a fake Longevity Fruit. Xiao Bai and Chun Hua also decide to get married in 10 days. Qiu Yue is obviously heartbroken when he hears this.

Episode 20: This is the wedding episode where Qiu Yue crashes the wedding and takes Chun Hua away after claiming that he had an affair with Chun Hua.

Episode 21: Chun Hua is kept in Qian Yue Cave by Qiu Yue and not allowed to leave. There is a spy (controlled by Leng Ning's father which is an evil guy that covets the Longevity Fruit) at Qian Yue Cave which sends her messages through the rice she eats and claims that Xiao Bai will be coming soon to rescue her. Through some conversations between Qiu Yue and Chun Hua, it is also revealed that he was never intimate with Hua Xiao Lei since it was only a one-sided love on her part. Meanwhile the Xiao Bai gang is left wondering whether Chun Hua really had an affair with Qiu Yue.

Episode 22: The spy ends up poisoning Chun Hua's food and trying to kill her (probably under Leng Ning's dad's orders). Qiu Yue saves Chun Hua and kills the spy then fixes a silk from the Ice Silkworm to prevent Chun Hua from escaping. Chun Hua also thinks that Xiao Bai ordered her death.

Episode 13: Xiao Bai's father dies. Qiu Yue asks Ye Yan how he should deal with Chun Hua now that Xiao Bai has mastered the last stroke of the Feng Ming Sabre. Ye Yan says that she should be killed as she is useless and knows too much. However, Qiu Yue refuses to kill her and says he will find a use for her. During Xiao Bai's father's funeral, a guy named Li Jian Lin barges in and asks Xiao Bai to hand over the Xuan Bing Stone. This was the stone that helped Xiao Bai to master the last stroke of the Xuan Bing Sabre. This stone turned out to be a gift to Xiao Bai's father from Shang Guan Hui (i.e. Qiu Yue's mum and the sister of the then Qian Yue Cave leader). She saved Xiao Bai's father and they fell in love with each other so she gifted him the stone. This in turn caused her brother's death and allowed Xiao Bai's father to rise to his current position.

Episode 14: There are some sweet moments between Xiao Bai and Chun Hua as she comforts him after he is devastated hearing the news of his father with Shang Guan Hui. Meanwhile, Qiu Yue thinks that Chun Hua is making the mistakes that his mum made and is determined to make sure that she does not end up in the same state as his mother. The Xiao Bai gang hears news of a Longevity Fruit auction and heads to the city where it is rumoured that the auction will be held.

Episode 15: While waiting for the auction to happen, there are more sweet moments between Xiao Bai and Chun Hua. They go so some picturesque location and Xiao Bai confesses to Chun Hua. However, Chun Hua realises that she doesn't really feel anything when Xiao Bai confesses to her. Meanwhile Leng NIng's father kills Feng Cai Cai's father. Chun Hua goes out for a walk and runs into You Si. She brings Chun Hua back to Chun Qi Valley to admire the flowers (you know that field with a ton of flowers). Qiu Yue suddenly appears and there is some bantering between them before he kisses her in jealousy. Meanwhile, You Si's servants wants to kidnap her as they think she has a clue to the Longevity Fruit which will save their mistress. Qiu Yue rescues her and brings her back to Qian Yue Cave.

Episode 16: Qiu Yue pretends that he kidnapped Chun Hua to lure Xiao Bai away from the auction and asks him to exchange his Feng Ming Sabre for Chun Hua. Xiao Bai goes to save Chun Hua while the rest goes to the auction. They realised that there was a massacre at the auction as everyone tried to kill each other. Only Leng Ning's father escaped and headed to some secret chamber. Qin Liu Feng, Feng Cai Cai and Leng Ning also manage to find the secret chamber and go in. Meanwhile Xiao Bai manages to save Chun Hua and keep his Sabre at the same time as there was silk from the Ice Silkworm on his sabre.

Episode 17: Xiao Bai and Chun Hua discover the massacre and head to the secret chamber after following tracks purposely left by Qin Liu Feng. There they meet up and discover the body of Feng Cai Cai's father in a coffin. There, they happened to run into Fu Lou who was there looking for the Longevity Fruit as well, which causes them to mistake him for the killer. Feng Cai Cai touches her father and becomes poisoned by the Dandelion poison. At night, as Chun Hua lies traumatised from the day's events, Qiu Yue seals her acupoints and hugs her from behind to comfort her (this part is super sweet!). After everyone discovers that the Dandelion poison is practically incurable, Chun Hua decides to head to Qian Yue Cave to asks Qiu Yue for help. She pretends to be tied to a tree so that Qiu Yue will rescue her. There is a sweet scene after this where Qiu Yue hugs her and redirects his internal energy to keep her warm and he will only do this for Chun Hua (implying that she is special to him)

Due to the slow subs and many people asking me, I will be giving a brief synopsis of each episode from episode 13 onwards including any moments of interest (I think youtube is subbed until episode 12?). Unfortunately, I am unable to give a full synopsis as it takes too long to fully translate each episode.

Xiao Bai tries to use the wedding as an opportunity to destroy the 'Longevity Fruit' (without telling Chun Hua) which made Chun Hua very upset. Then Qiu Yue came and told everyone at the wedding that he and Chun Hua are having an affair, before whisking her away.

I read somewhere that it was a one sided love on Xiao Lei's part and they didnt actually have an affair, just that Qiu Yue claimed that they did for his own benefit. He also said (i think in the book) that Xiao Lei didnt like him for who he really was and only liked a certain image that she had of him, which left him quite disappointed when she realised what he was really like. And yes Chun Hua is Xiao Lei.

Episode 19 - Shang Guan Qiu Yue gives the antidote to Chun Hua, Chun Hua will marry Xiao Bai in ten days

Chun Hua claimed that Xiao Bai poisoned her with a special poison concocted by his family. Once she is 'intimate' with someone else, the poison will take effect and become contagious. Qiu Yue didn't believe her and kissed her. Chun Hua was taken aback; initially she wanted to trick him but he saw through her lies instantly. Shang Guan Qiu Yue wants Chun Hua to remember that only he can be intimate with her. He also said that the bottle of 'San Ri Zui - Drunk in Three Days' did contain 'San Ri Zui' which will make alcohol taste better and didn't contain 'He Huan San' (some sort of aphrodisiac) like he initally claimed. After that, Shang Guan Qiu Yue gave the antidote to the Dandelion poison to Chun Hua and asked her to give it to Feng Cai Cai.

Shang Guan Qiu Yue brought Chun Hua to the exit and told her that he will try another way of living like Chun Hua suggested. Chun Hua was delighted and asked him to find a woman that he loves to spend his life with. At that moment, she recalled the way Shang Guan Qiu Yue kissed her and became dazed. Shang Guan Qiu Yue stared at her intently and wondered if that kind of life will have Little Chun Hua. With that, he left desolately. Chun Hua stared at the leaving Qiu Yue and held the antidote in her hands tightly.

Chun Hua brought the antidote back to Feng Ming Villa. Just as she was about to feed it to Feng Cai Cai, Leng Ning stopped her. She was suspicious of Chun Hua's intentions and denounced her. Just as Chun Hua was feeling devastated, Xiao Bai appeared and claimed that he believed Chun Hua. He asked Chun Hua to feed the antidote to Feng Cai Cai. Leng Ning claimed that she was suspicious of the source of the antidote rather than Chun Hua herself.

Chun Hua stared at the unconscious Feng Cai Cai and her resolve became to waver; she started to blame herself for believing Qiu Yue. At that moment, Feng Cai Cai opened her eyes and everyone hurried to her side while Chun Hua went to get a doctor.

Meanwhile, Shang Guan Qiu Yue had already prepared a way out for Chun Hua as he was worried that the others will harrass her about the source. He ordered his subordinates to release Dandelion's antidote to Mr Shi to distribute to all the pharmacies and ordered his subordiates to tell the shopkeepers the origins of the antidote and how it was made.

Chun Hua thanked Xiao Bai for believing her, but Xiao Bai claimed that he did not fully believe her and only believed that she wouldn't harm Feng Cai Cai, then he asked her regarding the source of the antidote. Chun Hua was angry and asked him if he will believe her if she told him that she bought it from the pharmacy. At that moment, Qin Liu Feng ran in with the antidote and asked Xiao Bai to quickly use it to save Feng Cai Cai. Chun Hua and Xiao Bai were stunned and stared at him. Qin Liu Feng claimed that all the pharmacies were selling the antidote which was made from the leaves of the Longevity Fruit. Xiao Bai and Qin Liu Feng immediately thought of Mr Shi while Chun Hua lapsed into thought.

At night, Chun Hua dreamt that she married Shang Guan Qiu Yue and woke up in shock. She convinced herself that the person she loved was Xiao Bai and not Shang Guan Qiu Yue; it was because she drank the 'San Ri Zui' and was seduced by Shang Guan Qiu Yue that she was feeling this way and she must quickly marry Xiao Bai to not be like that.

The next day, while Qin Liu Feng, Xiao Bai and Chun Hua were chatting on the benches, Qin Liu Feng suggested that they should go on an outing once Feng Cai Cai was better. Chun Hua said that Xiao Bai was too busy to go out to play. To test the camaraderie between Xiao Bai and Chun Hua, Qin Liu Feng asked the both of them to say the most important thing on Xiao Bai's mind at the same time. Chun Hua confidently said that it was the wedding but Xiao Bai said it was the Longevity Fruit, which made Chun Hua feel very awkward.

To change the subject, Chun Hua said that they should make a fake Longevity Fruit since no one has ever seen the real one before. After many days of drawing and grinding and polishing, they managed to transform a walnut into a 'Longevity Fruit'; this was handed to Chun Hua to safekeep.

Just as Chun Hua walked out of the door, Xiao Bai proposed to her and decided to marry her in ten days. Chun Hua was overjoyed and leapt for joy, excitedly relating the news to Qin Liu Feng.

Feng Cai Cai and Leng Ning also heard of the news. Leng Ning could tell that Feng Cai Cai was feeling down and comforted her that she will always be there for her. Feng Cai Cai put on a brave front and said that she had already got over Xiao Bai. Meanwhile, the wedding invitations were distributed to the various sects. Shang Guan Qiu Yue was busy missing Chun Hua when his subordinate Ye Yan arrived with the news of their wedding, throwing him into devastation.

Fu Lou also received the wedding invitation and Si Si was happy for Xiao Bai, as she thinks that Chun Hua is a good lady. Sadly, she was unable to attend the wedding. Fu Lou promised to deliver the wedding gift and promised Si Si that he will stop looking for the Longevity Fruit.

Meanwhile, Shang Guan Qiu Yue was lying in his secret room that was covered in glass shards. He couldn't believe that Chun Hua didn't reciprocrate his feelings and was marrying someone without his permission. With that he shattered another bottle of wine on the floor.
