I couldn't believe how much I loved LR when it was airing. I kept saying, "There is no way I love a kdrama this much". I wanted my weekends to fly which was absolutely ludicrous. I remember working from home on Mondays just so I can watch. Now that it's been a year my feelings are validated. Nothing has come close since. Or from the time I started watching kdramas eons ago.
I am so foolish. I should've waited a tad bit longer. I just got back from vacation and somehow managed to stay up until 5am to binge all the episodes (jet lag helped) but now I am dying for new episodes. This is SO good! ✨ I love a good slow burn. And the pacing makes it super believable. I've been waiting for this for a while. Expectations met! Also, BJT looks so fine.
How come this has a 9.0 stars but the reviews are bad? Are the ratings rigged?
I’d also recommend you check out the most recent reviews which I think is indicative of the 9.0 rating vs. the first few pages of top reviews. You can draw your own conclusions on why that is.
The first 30 mins was a waste of my time tbh. The rest was wholesome! ✨
I do think WTPR peaked in the first 4 episodes. I remember how eager I was back then. It was still good afterwards but some of the magic wore off for sure. Solid overall!
A good first episode. The entire time I was thinking how women experience what the ml goes through on a regular basis in the workforce! Often times, women sacrifice their career in choosing parenthood. It's a choice ofcourse but there are usually some implicit repercussions.
Their love is so subtle. It's not exaggerated or forced. It's free flowing and soft. I love that so much. I tilt my head to the side and just watch with a smile. They make it so believable. It's wonderful to see ✨
I love how the quality of the drama has not subsided with each new episode!✨ I am still very much looking forward to the rest. Episode 20 in particular was one of my favourites.
It's time to go back and re-watch some parts of episode 32 😌
